None. Because it is unmixed and complete, it is only the unaltered suchness. Thus it is. If it is said that just as being unmixed means it is not the nature of reality, it also becomes not so from the perspective of completeness, because that itself is inseparable in essence. If you say that, there is no fault, just as sesame seeds and oil, although inseparable in substance, sesame seeds do not appear as juice, and oil does not appear as lumps. Thus the former masters said. Secondly, by explaining the distinction between primordial purity and spontaneous presence, it shows that the ground has no bondage or liberation. With the three truths of tenets, one establishes one's own system as free from extremes. Thinking about the valid cognition that determines the ground. The first is to show the meaning of primordial purity and spontaneous presence. To state the distinctions of desired systems. Refuting the flawed side. Establishing one's own system and making distinctions, there are four in total. The first is that the ground is pure from the beginning, because ignorance is an adventitious stain. Like a precious jewel covered by impure mud. Thus, there are those who consider primordial purity as the ground and stains being different entities. The ground is spontaneously present from the beginning, because ignorance is not produced by others. If gold and iron were not distinct from the beginning, then the alchemy of transmuting iron into gold would not be possible. Thus, there are those who consider spontaneous presence as the ground and stains being inseparable. Secondly, each of these two also has three distinctions, but the great primordial purity and the great spontaneous presence are what is to be accomplished by eliminating all superimpositions, so they will be explained below. Here, from the perspective of the flawed desired systems, each is also divided into two. Among them, there are two types of primordial purity. Those who are primordially pure in the expanse say: Because the ground, the expanse of reality, is completely pure, it should not be the basis of ignorance, just as a precious jewel has no contamination of impure mud. Those who are primordially pure in wisdom say: Because the result, the form and wisdom, is abandoned by the five paths of the adventitious stain of ignorance, just as the obstacle to the arising of the desired needs of a precious jewel, the impure mud, is washed and wiped away to be pure, and thus the desired needs arise. There are also two types of spontaneous presence. Those who are spontaneously present in the nature of reality say: The key point is that the ground, ignorance and wisdom, are inseparable, so it does not go beyond the nature of the one nature of reality. Each phenomenon is also mutually spontaneously present in each other, just like gold and iron from the beginning.

It is said that without a vein of ore, one cannot transform impurities into gold, just like clay and trees. The Spontaneous Perfection school says that even if one attains the fruition of body and wisdom, ignorance is never completely abandoned, because samsara and nirvana are not different from it. Just as when iron is transformed into gold, the characteristics of gold do not appear on the iron, but it is not separated from the state of being transformed from iron. Third, if according to the view of primordial purity, the basis itself cannot even be the cause of the lineage of ignorance, therefore it would be absurd to say that delusion cannot arise. If it is said that ignorance is a sudden stain, then because the cause is blocked, the result will also be blocked, so it is impossible for a sudden stain to arise, because the cause is the Tathagatagarbha, which is originally stainless. If according to the view of wisdom's primordial purity, when body and wisdom are attained, because delusion is abandoned, gods and conceptual thoughts will become different, therefore it contradicts "The limbs of the Vajra Body are known as the five complete Buddhas," etc. As a common fault of the primordial purity school, because the basis and the stain are different, it contradicts the quote from the Extensive Treatise: "Ignorance and wisdom are not different entities, non-realization and realization are one on this path." There are also logical harms, such as the fact that delusional appearances cannot be transformed into the pure side, and even if one sees the nature of reality, one cannot abandon delusional appearances, etc., which fall like rain, and as will be explained, the scriptures and reasoning that become faults if there is no basis for delusion will also cause harm. Furthermore, if according to the view of the nature of reality being spontaneously perfect, because the basis and delusion are inseparable, therefore it would be absurd to say that delusion cannot be abandoned. If according to the view of the entity being spontaneously perfect, because it does not go beyond the nature of ignorance, even attaining the fruition of Buddhahood becomes unnecessary. As a common fault, because it is believed that the basis and the stain are inseparable, it contradicts the quote from the Extensive Treatise: "The so-called all-pure is not the purity of eliminating things, but is completely pure in the very display and experience." And seeing the delusional appearances of ignorance is seeing the nature of reality, etc., and the harms that occur if there is a basis for delusion, which will be explained below, will also fall. In short, because the two, primordial purity and spontaneous perfection, one tenet harms the other, the lamas said that all four of these tenets are solely faulty.
