It is free from all extremes. As it says in the Galdan Lhaje: "The characteristic of the ultimate truth is that it is free from all elaborations." Also, in Jetari's explanation of the Sugata's teachings: "It is neither existent nor nonexistent, nor both existent and nonexistent. It is not the nature of both. It is definitely liberated from these four extremes." Classification: The relative truth that is free from some elaborations, and the ultimate truth that is free from all elaborations. As it says in the Galdan Lhaje: "Classification: relative truth and non-relative truth are free from eight extremes." So, are these two truths one or different? In conventional terms, like water and the moon in water, the nature is the same but the aspects are different. As it says in the Bodhicitta Explanation: "Like the nature of sugarcane is sweet, like the nature of fire is hot, likewise, the nature of all phenomena abides in emptiness." In ultimate terms, it cannot be said to be either one or different. As it says in the Maitreya's Question: "It is not the realm that cannot be expressed by the characteristics of actions, nor is it other." Among the Madhyamikas, although there is no difference in how the ultimate truth is established, those who assert that appearances in the conventional world are established as mere illusions are the Svatantrikas, and those who assert that appearances are free from elaborations from the very beginning, and even deny the conventional, are the Prasangikas. The Cittamatrins believe that the objects and subjects of dualistic perception are conventional, and that the non-dualistic wisdom, self-awareness, and self-illumination are the ultimate truth. Classification: Those who believe that external objects are true only as appearances of consciousness are the true aspectarians, and those who believe that appearances are imputed by consciousness are the false aspectarians. Second, the view: to realize the two selflessnesses without error. That is, in the conventional world, all phenomena appear like the moon in water, and in the ultimate world, to realize the nature of all elaborations being pacified, thereby realizing the reality of the two truths. As it says in the Garland of Views: "All defiled and purified phenomena are without self-nature in the ultimate truth, and in the conventional truth, they exist as mere illusions, with their individual characteristics unmixed." Also, as it says in the Lamrim: "If one does not know the meaning of equality, and distinguishes between the conventional and ultimate truths, and is selfless with regard to phenomena and persons, this is a Bodhisattva." Third, regarding ethics, one should...

There are three types of discipline: the discipline of gathering merits, the discipline of benefiting sentient beings, and the discipline of abstaining from misdeeds. The first is the accumulation of virtuous qualities, the collection of merit, gathered by the two accumulations and the six perfections. The second is the practice of all thoughts and actions for the benefit of sentient beings. The third is, according to the Madhyamaka school, it is not necessarily required to have the Pratimoksha vows as a basis for generating Bodhicitta. However, in the Bodhisattvabhumi, as explained in the seven categories of Pratimoksha vows for the discipline of abstaining from misdeeds, one takes the Vow Bodhicitta, which aims at enlightenment, and the Action Bodhicitta, which engages in accumulation and activities for that purpose, based on abiding by these precepts. One takes either of the two Bodhicittas through a ritual and trains in its precepts. Among these, the Chittamatra school considers there to be four root downfalls, as stated in the "Twenty Verses": By attachment to gain and honor, praising oneself and disparaging others, to those who are suffering and helpless, being miserly and not giving Dharma and wealth, not listening even when others confess, retaliating with anger towards others, abandoning the Great Vehicle's true Dharma, and showing what appears to be similar to false Dharma. Etc. According to the Madhyamaka school, it is considered to be nineteen or twenty. The king has five certainties, the minister has five certainties, the common people have eight certainties, and the commonality is abandoning the aspiration Bodhicitta, totaling nineteen, which is what is said in the Sikshasamuccaya following the Akashagarbha Sutra. On top of that, adding abandoning the action Bodhicitta and not engaging in virtuous deeds makes twenty, which is what is said in the Ratnakuta Sutra. These are also as stated in the Bodhicaryavatara: Those who wish to protect their minds should diligently protect mindfulness and awareness. Even if life is at stake, do not abandon them. I earnestly request with folded hands. Therefore, by not losing mindfulness and awareness, abandoning the four black Dharmas, and adopting the four white Dharmas, one should strive to protect without wasting. The fourth is meditation, in general, one meditates on the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment in the four paths of learning, namely, in the small Path of Accumulation, one meditates on the four mindfulnesses; in the medium, one meditates on the four right abandonments; and in the great, one meditates on the four legs of miraculous power. In the Path of Preparation, in the heat stage, one meditates on the five faculties; in the peak stage, one meditates on the five powers; in the Path of Seeing, one meditates on the seven branches of enlightenment; and in the Path of Meditation, on the nine grounds, one meditates on the eightfold noble path. Specifically, the way to practice from the beginning is in the final wheel.
