Oh! How is that? All phenomena encompassed by samsara and nirvana, the wisdom of mind's own arising, have a single essence in the unborn realm of reality. It is due to realizing or not realizing this that the duality of samsara and nirvana appears. For example, the delusion of mistaking a prince for a commoner and the valid cognition of ascertaining him as a prince are both the same in essence as the prince. As it says in the Ocean: In the realm of dharmata, the nature is one, All self-appearing phenomena, Are realized as the mind of enlightenment. It means that the radiance of mind's unborn nature, its unceasing play, spontaneously appears as the body, speech, and mind of deities. It is understood by symbolizing it with the letter 'A' (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:无), which cannot be represented, yet appears unceasingly as many representable letters. This is like pointing to the moon with a finger. As it says in the Ocean: Through the appearance as body, speech, and mind, All are realized as ornaments of speech, All are letters of speech, Endowed with skillful means, they seal it. The power of truly realizing that self-nature is unborn and its play is unceasing arises from the blessing of realizing the inseparability of these two. The ultimate seven treasures are spontaneously accomplished as the essence of reality, and therefore, their appearance and disappearance, the outer world and inner beings, spontaneously appear as the mandala of body and wisdom. This is like gold and the yellowness of gold. As it says in the Ocean: From the blessing of that inseparability, That itself is the blessing of that, Spontaneously appearing in a non-dual way, The blessing is wondrous, beyond comprehension. The indivisible truth is also beyond the realm of the intellect. The object to be seen and the consciousness that sees are non-dual, and self-awareness directly realizes the absence of an object and self-illumination. This is the reality of all phenomena. Those with pure minds see it that way in the vision of wisdom. For example, just as seeing a white conch shell with eyes free from defects is the reality of the conch shell's color. As it says in the Ocean: This mind, self-arisen and self-illuminating, Is non-dual, self-aware, and unborn, Clearly manifest, without doubt, It is said to be the supreme of all realizations. And as it says in the Garland of Views: All phenomena abide as primordially enlightened, which is not contradictory to scripture and oral instructions, scripture and oral instructions

It is not merely relying on words, but through one's own wisdom, believing deeply in one's heart, thereby directly realizing it. Thus it is said. In this way, with the four reasons for profound realization, all phenomena are determined, and as they truly are, they appear completely clear in the direct perception of self-awareness. Therefore, without acceptance or rejection, one instantly gains mastery over the play of body and wisdom, hence being the king. There is no doctrine greater than this. These, which take the earlier doctrines as the measure of the later ones, are gradual paths of realization. If considered as instantaneous, all phenomena encompassed by the two truths have a single root in the indivisible truth. And this is symbolized by the combined form of the letters A, U, and MA. Through the power of the blessings of this non-dual vowel, one is primordially enlightened in the three vajras, decisively determined by the direct perception of self-awareness, and completely liberated from the realm of mental activity. This is the doctrine. As stated in "Fearsome Lightning": The root is the two truths simultaneously; with the nature of one being one; in the mandala of body, speech, and mind; the nature of all phenomena is realized; from the blessings of the unborn realm; all phenomena are known to appear; such is its nature; not relying on others, nor contradicting; if determined by direct awareness; the yogi has reached the ground. Thus it is said. Secondly: "Realizing the purity of containers, contents, and continuums." That is, the five external elements of the world as the container, the five internal aggregates of sentient beings as the contents, and their respective continuums, encompassed by the eight collections of consciousness, are all primordially enlightened as the mandala of body and wisdom. The three—containers, contents, and continuums—in their respective order, are pure as the five Tathagata Mothers, the five Tathagata Fathers, and the five wisdoms. Whatever is primordially pure by nature is pervaded by being untouched by any obscurations, and that itself is pervaded by being enlightened as the essence of body and wisdom, like the Dharmakaya. As it is said: In the supreme essence of all, the Victorious Ones do not seek Dharma elsewhere. Thus it is said. If one realizes and becomes accustomed to this, then of course one becomes a Buddha. If one wonders how one could become a Buddha merely by abiding in it, whether realized or not, the self-nature of perfect purity is the Buddha.
