The consecration ritual has two parts: explaining the order of actions and explaining the main meaning of the text. The first has nine aspects. First, the order of preliminary actions: the Acharya performs the vase practice and collects the vase water, performs an extensive fire offering, and for the object to be consecrated, removes dust from the image, polishes it with bark, etc., performs peaceful actions, and straightens the ritual, etc. Second, purifying and generating with two samadhis. Third, inviting and dissolving, as explained in this chapter. Fourth, offering the seven dharmas that eliminate the defects of the senses, such as opening the eyes with a needle. Fifth, commonly, empowering with the vase water of the nature of the five wisdoms, blessing body, speech, and mind, and especially, bestowing dominion with twenty-five ornaments such as the head ornament. Sixth, bathing with seven waters and wiping with a cloth. Seventh, offering outer, inner, leftover, samadhi, and secret offerings, as explained in this chapter. Eighth, requesting to remain steadfast until the desired purpose is accomplished. Ninth, circumambulation and making aspirations, etc., should be understood from the consecration ritual. Second, explaining the meaning of the text has six parts: arranging the offerings, purifying with the samadhi of emptiness, generating with the samadhi like musical instruments, the qualities of purifying and generating in this way, inviting and abiding the wisdom being, and offering the offerings. The first is: "Ornamental," etc., two lines. "Ornamental" means cloth with changed colors, and shapes such as banners, umbrellas, canopies, bells, etc., of various kinds, as well as precious jewel garlands, and also surrounded by drinks and foods with excellent flavors. In addition, there are uncommon mandala decorations and consecration implements such as bathing equipment. Commonly, outer and inner offerings, tormas, etc., are well arranged. The second is: "Body, speech," etc., one verse. One's own body, speech, and mind, and all outer and inner phenomena represented by the object to be consecrated, do not abide anywhere other than the appearance of the mind, and in a state where nothing is perceived, appearing as if non-existent, joining equally like a cataract in the eye, the object, the nature of phenomena, is like space, and the subject, awareness, is mixed into one taste, abiding without limit like space, self-illuminating without an object.

Meditate and be proud with the mantra of emptiness. The third is, the five branches such as the play of samadhi, from the state of emptiness, the power of samadhi is an infinite and supreme play that never ceases in any way, arising from one's own heart, from the seed syllable, the five elements are generated in a step-by-step palace with a seat. There, visualize the form bodies as clear emptiness wisdom, and visualize oneself as the father and mother Buddha in union with the Bodhicitta, such as the wheel of speech letters (Tibetan: ཋ་ཊ་, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: ṭha ṭa, Chinese literal meaning: ṭha ṭa), or (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ་མཱུཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ mūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: hūṃ mūṃ) etc., arising instantaneously from the essence of the heart, or placing the letters on their respective seats, radiating or not radiating light, with subtle hand gestures, from the coarse hand implements, the fully complete Buddha, in the three places, generate and bless the Buddha with the vajra of body, speech, and mind, then both common and supreme accomplishments, as well as rare great accomplishments, will be accomplished, which is the oath of all Buddhas, to show that it will never be transgressed at any time. The fourth is, earth, etc., one verse, thus, even if the inferior objects such as earth and trees are made in the form of body, speech, and mind hand gestures, the order of the fruits of liberation can be obtained in accordance with the respective capacities of the beings to be tamed, then, what need is there to say that by purifying the emptiness of what is grasped and what grasps, and by taming with wisdom like play, and by visualizing as a Buddha, the desired fruit is obtained? Because the true nature of the mind is originally a Buddha, and there is no other Buddha body to be sought. The fifth is, directions, times, etc., two verses, the great essence of the mandala of all the victors of the ten directions and four times, the Dharmakaya, without any object of focus, dwells in the state of non-proliferation of the mandala of the mind, from the form body, the wisdom mandala, all that appears according to the desire of how to tame, is invited. Where? Invited to the Samaya Mandala, where awareness and self-appearance are inseparable, by the characteristic of entering and dissolving, the Samaya and Yeshe are equally united, from all directions and four times, all the victors who have passed away with the two benefits fulfilled, by the power of the aspiration of previous closeness, accomplishing the activities of benefiting beings, appearing with compassion in the wisdom mandala and coming, the Samaya Mandala.
