Chapter Five: The Chapter on Teaching Samadhi, the Method for Accomplishing All Siddhis. || Chapter Six has three parts: history, text, and title. First, starting with "Then, thus," etc. Previously, the three methods were briefly explained. Then, in order to elaborate on the two methods of the base and the inconceivable, namely, tranquility and insight, and the mandala of the fruition of the self-nature body, since the nature of all Tathagatas is neither one nor many, the great sovereign of unmixed perfection, showing the collective form of all Buddhas, beholding all beings in the ten directions of the six realms to be tamed, the tamer, showing the qualities of his own greatness, the form of the mandala of the five wisdoms, desiring to speak this for the sake of the retinue, speaks. Second, the text has two parts: detailed explanation and concise explanation. The first has three parts: the mandala of samadhi, the mandala of the superior samadhi body, and the mandala of the ultimate body of the self-nature fruit. First, "Wisdom, direction," etc., one verse. Although the nature of self-awareness wisdom is not established in terms of direction, from the aspect of qualities, it appears as the five wisdoms to be expressed. Therefore, the terms of the four directions and the five centers are applied to the expresser. Thus, the mandala of the five wisdoms itself is beyond the realm of aimless thought and expression, and spontaneously accomplished when sought as the pervader of all limitless dharmas. It is the great mandala of the self-nature, the nature of reality, the secret essence of self-nature, complete from the beginning. The yogi who realizes this, in order to practice and familiarize himself with the great mandala of self-nature, which is the basis of the arising of all dharmas, should practice with the activity of meditation. Second, there are three: the supporting palace, the supported deity, and the explanation of the greatness of the mandala. First, "Wheel," etc., one verse. Meditating on the immeasurable lower base at the center of the wheel of wisdom is the precious palace of perfect wisdom. That is also a symbol of the five wisdoms cutting off ignorance, the inner base wheel with four spokes and the central hub being five. That itself is also free from elaboration.
