Furthermore, the clinging to existence, which is established in conventional truth, is greatly diminished, thereby realizing that karma and its results are the play of the great self-nature. Therefore, one knows that the five afflictions are the very self-radiance of the five wisdoms. Since there is no duality of abandonment and antidote, one is not stained. No matter how one behaves, it appears as virtue. For both Inner Tantra and Mantra practitioners, there are methods to control the afflictions. Moreover, the Dharma-dhatu is naturally pure, and self-arisen wisdom naturally manifests, thus realizing that all abandonment, practice, and transformation arise from the view of substantiality. One does not obstruct anything, nor does one strive in anything, thus being liberated from all the terms of abandonment and antidote, and demonstrating non-staining by karma and its results. The ultimate secret essence of the tenets of all vehicles converges in this definitive tantric text. Secondly, the view that should be fully understood is twofold: narrating the historical account and genuinely ascertaining the truth. The first is: from "Then, the Tathagata," etc., explaining the general introduction to the teachings, that is, from the master, the lord of all Tathagatas, for the sake of opening the wisdom of the retinue, expressing the intention through symbolic speech, just as communicating symbols through expression, the compiler narrates the history and connects it. The second is twofold: examining that the nature of cyclic existence is without self-nature, and ascertaining that the transcendent Dharma is inexpressible. The first includes: the object to be measured, the reasoning, and the established tenet in Vajrayana. The first is: from "As many as," etc., five lines, that is, these worlds encompassed by as many external and internal objects, fabricated by clinging to what is not as what it is, are dream-like delusive phenomena. The root is co-emergent ignorance, and the conceptual imputation of dualistic grasping, by the consciousness that manifests the duality of grasper and grasped, the external dependent origination is related to the cause of the seed, encompassed from sprout to fruit; the five elements related to conditions and the changes of time, etc., which produce it, like (external dependent origination); the internal dependent origination is like that encompassed from ignorance to old age and death, without interval between the external and internal, revolving like a chariot wheel, and experiencing various pleasures and pains due to the power of different karmas, becoming distressed.

Thus, at the very moment of appearance, since its intrinsic nature of reality is undiminished, although samsara and nirvana cannot be said to be the same or different, here, the mind that clings to and fabricates distinctions is the object of investigation or measurement. As the 'Appearance Treatise' states: 'Measure the two realms of imputation.' And as the 'Stages of the Path' states: 'Examine the appearance of clinging to samsara and nirvana as real.' So it is. Secondly, there are two types: common and uncommon. First, the common proof of truth is the three lines beginning with 'Truly illusory.' That which merely appears in samsara and is not truly established is the ultimate truth; that which appears like an illusion without ceasing is the conventional truth. Thus, in accordance with the intention of the characteristic vehicle to divide all phenomena into two truths, here too we speak of two truths. In this way, the consciousness that grasps at self, and the conceptual thought that fabricates the five aggregates and five elements as self, these objects of grasping are merely appearances and are not established as such, because they are equal in the state of suchness, the completely pure realm. Moreover, these three selves are not established in the face of ultimate truth, so they are equal in being unborn; in the face of conventional truth, they are not deceptive, so they are equal in being like an illusion, which is the commonality. If further established by the two truths, then these three selves are purified in sequence into the five wisdoms, the five families, and the five mothers, so from the perspective of ultimate truth, wisdom, fruit, and intrinsic ultimate are the three, that is, the seven treasures are spontaneously accomplished as essence and are equal; from the perspective of conventional truth, wisdom, mudra, and phenomena are the three illusions, that is, the mandala of body and wisdom is primordially complete and equal, which is the uncommon equality. Secondly, there are the proofs of the four realizations and the three purities. First is 'Self and others of self' etc., two verses including one line. These appearances of self and others of self as different are due to ignorance, being merely illusory appearances of distorted conceptualization, and nothing else is seen, so they are extremely subtle, that is, atoms; because they are not realized, they are extremely profound, that is, even a momentary consciousness does not exist independently, but this appearance is the habit of the previous distorted conceptualization acting on the subsequent habit, distorted like the appearance of a dream.
