Possessing the wisdom of understanding that accords with (sentient beings), and each body also possesses mandalas of peaceful, wrathful, and slightly wrathful faces that correspond to the diverse inclinations of sentient beings in all realms of experience, and the speech that teaches the Dharma in accordance with the individual languages of all those to be tamed, which is inconceivable. Thus, inconceivable and limitless emanations radiate boundlessly, appearing in all the fields of the ten directions and taming beings. The fourth (topic) has two parts: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. The first (topic) is from "Everything also" to "Vehicle," wherein, in general, there are three points to explain: the meaning of the word "Vehicle," its classifications, and the meaning of each of its branches. The meaning of the word is: from the Sanskrit word "Yana," the meaning of "carrying" is derived, hence it is called "Vehicle." That is, because it carries, it is a Vehicle, like a good chariot. Because this carries, it is a Vehicle, that is, the individual who travels relying on it. Because it carries here, it is a Vehicle, that is, the desired result of each. As it is said in the Compendium: "This Vehicle is like the sky, a great immeasurable palace, the supreme Vehicle that brings joy, happiness, and bliss, all sentient beings ride on it and transcend all suffering." Regarding classifications, according to the commonly known view in the teachings, the number of Vehicles is not fixed, but rather, to suit the minds of those to be tamed, the Buddha, with compassion, taught various antidotes. As it is said in the Extensive Sutra: "The unsurpassable Vehicles are said to be countless, they are merely appearances in each individual's mind." The Lankavatara Sutra says: "To guide all sentient beings, I have taught all Vehicles, there is no specific one designated as 'this'." If we summarize for now, the White Lotus Sutra of the Sacred Dharma says: "One Vehicle, not two or three." This is like considering it from the perspective of the result, ultimately establishing it as one Vehicle. Or it can be divided into the Small Vehicle and the Great Vehicle, or into two based on cause and effect. Or it can be divided into the three Vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, or into the three Vehicles of the Generation Stage, the Guidance Stage, the Asceticism Stage, the Mantra Stage, and the Empowerment Stage. Or it can be divided into the three causal Vehicles and the resultant Vehicle, making four Vehicles. Or it can be divided into the three divisions of the Characteristic School, the three divisions of the Outer Tantras, and the three divisions of the Inner Tantras, making nine Vehicles. The Lankavatara Sutra says: "As long as consciousness exists,

Where is the realm? The edge of the vehicle is unattainable. When does the mind change? Then there is no vehicle and no going. As it is said, as long as the sequence of mind is not exhausted, the edge of the vehicle is unattainable, therefore it is inconceivable. The path on which one relies, and what one goes by, etc., the meaning of the mind's self-nature being pure, the so-called vehicle is also without object. In particular, as this tantra states, the speech of the emanation body is inconceivable, but if summarized, it is like this: because of taming the disciples of the five types of faculties, it is divided into five types of vehicle differences and taught. The meaning of each division: Deva (藏文,梵文天城体:देव,梵文罗马拟音:deva,汉语字面意思:天) means god because of enjoying happiness; Manusya (藏文,梵文天城体:मनुष्य,梵文罗马拟音:manuṣya,汉语字面意思:人) means human because of the predominance of mind, which is a good basis formed by the difference of merit. Its vehicle is to escape from the evil destinies by practicing the ten virtuous deeds, captured by the view of believing in the afterlife and karma, and to reach the ultimate happiness of humans and desire gods according to the size of the power of virtuous deeds. On the basis of practicing the ten virtues, cultivating the four immeasurables and the immovable samadhi, and meditating on the eight samapattis of the four dhyanas, one can reach the fruit of the gods of the upper two realms. In the Lankavatara Sutra, the former is taught with the meaning of the main, which is the deva vehicle; the latter is pure because it is clean from the afflictions of the desire realm, so it is said to be the Brahma vehicle. Among them, it is widely said: Practicing the ten virtues and abandoning non-virtue is the cause of being born as gods and humans in the desire realm. Cultivating the four immeasurables and immovable meditation is the cause of being born in the Brahma heavens and other places. So it is. The word Sravaka means listening and spreading, so listening to the Dharma from the teacher, and spreading the fruit of what one has heard to others, is called Sravaka. Its vehicle is that the continuum of the external coarse objects and the taker and the taken are only conventional appearances, but have no self-nature, so although one can realize the selflessness of the person, the self of the Dharma, the dust of the taken, is surrounded by the two parts of the interval and the non-interval, and both establish the moment of the mind of the taker as the ultimate truth. Practicing karma and its effects without error, and practicing accordingly. The peace of mind that is capable, and the aspects of the four truths.
