Because it is widely proclaimed that "it is the suffering of breaking," and so on. Therefore, the necessity of mentioning "discrimination" by name here is: In the Spargab, it says, "The five discriminations, such as the alaya-vijñana, are mentioned because of their self-nature and non-commonality. In order for them to understand the original purity, they appear as self-manifestations to Vajradhara and others." Therefore, the self-nature is the nature of knowable things. If both discrimination and deity appear, they appear equally. If they are empty, they are equally empty. They are equal without good or bad. In this uncommon vehicle, the practitioner must recognize deity and discrimination as inseparable. And at the time of the complete fruition, discrimination itself is not abandoned or transformed, but appears as the mandala of the deity. That is why it is mentioned. If asked, what is the reason why the collection of discriminations appears as a deity? There are two reasons for this: from the perspective of the existence of external objects, and from the perspective of the internal knowable. First, the self-nature of discrimination, which possesses the dharma-nature, appears as a deity. Because it is originally so, once it encounters the causal conditions of the path, it can appear as a deity without ceasing. For example, gold powder gathered by mercury appears as a lump of mercury, but once it encounters the causal condition of fire, it will turn into gold. If it does not encounter it, it will not change. Just like that. In the Uttaratantra of the Net of Illusory Discrimination, it says, "Asked: O Bhagavan, from what kind of cause should these yogis practice? Answered: The aggregates, elements, sense bases, five elements, and so on. Asked: Then, can the appearance of the fruit also arise from the cause? Answered: Son of the lineage, it is so. The wisdom of the fruit appears from the cause. Why is that? Because all the aggregates and so on appear as the forty mudras of illusion, and in ultimate truth, they appear as the single taste of ultimate truth. That is what I say. Asked: O Bhagavan, according to what the Bhagavan said, since that is this, it is also contradictory to what should be practiced. Answered: What do you think? For example, a fruit that has not encountered the causal relationship, although it has the cause of arising, does not have the ability to manifest. Similarly, although there is the cause of enlightenment, it is not connected with the causal condition of samadhi.

Because it has no power to produce results, it should be understood in this way. As it is said. Secondly, if we consider it from the aspect of inner knowable objects, what is it like? The nature of conceptualization, possessing the nature of dharma, appears as a deity, because the appearance is uncertain. For example, for the same substance of water, the impure, the beings of pure lands, and the accomplished individuals have different views. Just like that. Also, in the glorious Samantabhadra Tantra, it says: "All these beings, are the nature of the five Buddhas. They appear like dancers and painted images." As it is said. Furthermore, the collection of conceptualizations, possessing the nature of dharma, appears as a deity, because this and that have the same nature of dharma. How so? Consciousness is the nature of mind, and form and body are the same, these two are actually the same. Feeling is the basis for experiencing objects, so it is merit. Perception is the nature of grasping at characteristics, and all internal and external phenomena are expressed by the action of applying names, so it is speech. Volition is the act of doing, so it is the nature of action. Thus, in another tantra, it says: "Form is Vairochana himself. Feeling is Ratnasambhava. Perception is Amitabha. Volition is Amoghasiddhi. Consciousness is Akshobhya." As it is said. Again, someone says, in the later tantra, it says: "The five aggregates, such as morality, are different for the undefiled." Then, are the five aggregates of appropriation transformed into the five undefiled aggregates also considered to have the same nature of dharma? They are considered the same, because the aggregate of consciousness transformed into the wisdom that sees complete liberation is the nature of mind. Similarly, form transformed into the aggregate of morality is the stainless body. Feeling transformed into samadhi is the basis of merit, so it is merit. Perception transformed into wisdom is the basis of the dharma of scripture and realization, so it is speech. Volition transformed into the aggregate of complete liberation is the nature of completely accomplished activity and the basis of action. In the scripture, it says: "The aggregate of form transforms into the body of morality, The aggregate of feeling transforms and attains hundreds of thousands of samadhis, The aggregate of perception transforms into the aggregate of wisdom, The aggregate of
