Visualize yourself dwelling in their retinue. Again, visualize radiating light, summoning sentient beings of the six realms, and again, visualize summoning harmful demons and obstructing forces with light, arranging them sequentially in the outer environment of the mandala palace. Then, visualize your own body, this tall, full, oily, young, beautiful, and pleasing body, gradually dissolving into light. Then, bless it into the nectar of uncontaminated wisdom, with a hundred excellent flavors, manifesting as offerings of various desirable qualities. Upwards, offer them sequentially to the Guru, the Three Jewels, the Yidam deities, Dakinis, and Dharma Protectors. Downwards, give them to the sentient beings of the six realms and the harmful karmic creditors, visualizing that they all feel satisfied and fulfilled, and cultivate joy in this. Fifth: Just as the sky is without limit, all of it is filled with sentient beings without any gaps, therefore sentient beings are also without limit. All these sentient beings have been my parents countless times. Just as my mother in this life benefits me, all these sentient beings have given me immeasurable kindness, they are all my benefactors! Thinking in this way is cultivating loving-kindness. These kind parents, unwillingly suffering various pains in samsara, are not only pitiful, but also unhesitatingly throwing themselves into the great evil deeds that are the cause of suffering, how pitiful! What can I do to stop my parents from engaging in these causes of suffering and experiencing suffering? Thinking in this way, feeling unbearable towards the suffering of sentient beings, with a heart as if tearing apart, is cultivating compassion. Having cultivated loving-kindness and compassion in this way, it is not helpful to merely remain in the state of "how pitiful." One must strongly think: I must liberate them from the suffering of samsara and place them in the supreme Nirvana of unsurpassed liberation. Sixth, in the union of Shamatha and Vipassana, first in the aspect of Shamatha, forcibly cut off conceptual thoughts: On a comfortable cushion, arrange the body in the seven-point posture. The key point of speech is to keep the breath in its natural state. The key point of mind is to completely cut off all thoughts of the past, future, and present. Abide in the natural state of the mind without grasping, in a way without relying on anything, remaining clear and relaxed, without fabrication. If wandering thoughts arise, immediately cut them off at their source.
