Thereafter, settle the winds and mind in the central channel through the seven-point posture. It is said. The way of looking is: first lower the gaze, then gradually raise it to practice, so that obstacles are small and merits are great. That is, until the mind is subdued, hold the mind with the peaceful downward gaze of a Shravaka. Once subdued, release it naturally with the upright gaze of a Bodhisattva. If attachment arises to the experience, transform it into the wrathful deity's gaze turning in the ten directions, thereby recognizing subsequent awareness. The second point is, the master said, "By suppressing the arising of the five root winds, the five branch winds can be made to function. Realizing the many doorways of interdependent origination, this is the instruction of Karma Pakshi." Therefore, by naturally placing the three—arising, dissolving, and abiding—the ten winds are brought under control. The third point has three aspects: the superior faculties are placed in a state of vast expanse; the middling faculties are placed in a state of naked seeing and union of minds; the inferior faculties are subdued and placed through various methods of subduing. The first is: straighten the body posture, relax the mind, do not hold anything in mind, relax naturally, and abide in its own state without fabrication. The master said, "Abide without fabrication." If you fabricate, it is like dismounting from a horse and riding a donkey. It is said. If conceptual thoughts arise, neither look at them nor follow them, but abide in their own state without fabrication. Clear: Like smashing a stone, shatter it and abide in its own way. The second is, Sraseng said to the master, "Look intently at whatever arises, rest naturally on what is, once grasped, shatter and abandon it, practice on that very thing, and bear whatever arises." It is said. There are two aspects to this: transforming whatever arises of external appearances into practice, that is, without obstructing the senses, look nakedly at whatever arises in the realm of the six aggregates, and rest naturally on the basis of seeing its selflessness. Clear: Like smashing a stone with the sound "Phat! (ཕཊ་)", shatter it and abide in its original state. By abiding in this way, the sound does not cease, and the essence does not establish anything, but is open. Realizing the inseparability of appearance and emptiness is called self-arising wisdom, therefore practice it constantly. Transforming whatever arises of inner awareness into practice, Saraha said to the master, "The image that appears in the mirror of the mind is an arising of conditions, but in reality it is not born." Therefore, whatever conceptual thought arises in the mind, look intently at what its essence is. When you look, coarse things like conceptual thoughts appear as emptiness of appearance and emptiness of sound.

Subtle things go swooshing in their own clarity and emptiness. Rest together on top of that. Dissolve into clear emptiness and remain in your own state. Whatever happiness, suffering, or circumstantial appearances arise, practice in that way. The third is divided into two: with signs and without signs. The first has three parts. Appearance is like a rubbing cushion, and awareness is like a rubbing stick. Sharpen awareness with it, and introduce awareness as naked wisdom. This is the instruction spoken by Indra Bodhi to the holy one. In front of you, place a sign of focus, such as a piece of wood or a pebble. Focus your gaze and awareness on it, and fixate directly. Increase the sharpness of awareness. Bring out the clarity of the senses and remain steadfast. གསལ་:རྡོ་ (Tibetan), śila (Sanskrit Devanagari), shila (Sanskrit Romanization), Clarity of stone: Stone, instantly dissolve and remain in your own state. At night, in the sphere of heart light, the small form of the lama appears, with a joyful, smiling face. Focus your mind on the blue, blazing Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable at his heart, and meditate as before. By turning awareness like a torch with your gaze, introduce awareness as naked wisdom. This is what Vajra Bellpa said to the holy one. Forcefully seize the violent wind. Focus your gaze. Focus your mind intensely on awareness turning like a wheel of fire in the sky in front of you. གསལ་:རྡོ་ (Tibetan), śila (Sanskrit Devanagari), shila (Sanskrit Romanization), Clarity of stone: Stone, dissolve with the sound Phaṭ (藏文:ཕཊ,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Phaṭ), then relax and remain in your own state. By focusing your gaze on awareness as a spear thrust at three distances, near, medium, and far, introduce awareness as naked wisdom.
