It is said that it portends struggles and the like in the world. As stated in the general meaning of Taktsangpa, "Planets fighting each other cause struggles and other events in the world." And in the Kalachakra Tantra and the seventh conjunction of time, it is inauspicious when Mars, the Sun, Mars, and Saturn appear together, and auspicious when Mercury, the Moon, Mars, and Venus appear together, and so on. Although I have not seen in each conjunction of time, the owner planet being combined in each hour of the approximately five-hour duration, as some astrological calculations say, if the lord of one's own field enters, then from the beginning to the end of that conjunction of time is auspicious, and so on, even if analyzed with reason, it seems to yield similar results. When using constellations, all planets have a north-south movement. As stated in the Great Commentary, "Here, all planets in the wheel of houses have a north and south movement." and so on can prove it. If they move differently from these two paths, then predicting a new auspicious or inauspicious result in the world is difficult to judge with reason. However, the Chinese translation of the Golden Light Sutra says, "By the blessing of this sutra, the places illuminated by the sun and moon, the stars do not exceed their limits, the wind and rain fall in due season, and in all the lands of this Jambudvipa, the countries will have good harvests and the people will be happy." And the Great Peacock Sutra says, "The thirty-seven Brahmas also appear and disappear, moving like a wheel, causing increase and decrease in the world." And the Garga Samhita says, "When the sun rises and sets, it turns like a wheel." and so on, based on the view that planets and stars move in a proper and improper manner, thereby benefiting or harming the world. Also, in the tantras and commentaries, it is mentioned that due to the movement of planets, the height of the moon's horns varies, from which famines and rainfall can be inferred. Similarly, if a comet appears at an inappropriate time, it is also considered inauspicious.
