It is impossible to develop like that through such a wonderful combination, even in India itself. Since it cannot be expressed with all the examples and definitions, it seems difficult to thoroughly understand each treatise. For example, taking the verses at the end of the Vajravidāraṇādhāraṇī as an example, although many Chinese versions have very many combinations of oral instructions, some do not match the definitions of Ratnasambhava explained here. Some may be typos, etc. But most seem to be explained from other treatises on the definitions of details such as oral instructions, just as it can be explained for Ārya Tārā and others. Moreover, what is very inconsistent with Ratnasambhava is that Chöje Sakya Paṇḍita said in his treatise called "Collection of Combinations" that there are also combinations that are not divided by continuous verses. As the omniscient Gendun Drup also composed Tibetan verses alternating heavy and light sounds without dividing them into four lines in the appendix of the Vinaya Commentary and the Vinaya Ṭīkā Ratnamālā, it seems difficult to have an absolute conclusion. Therefore, this example at this time is not the occasion to explain the definitions of each combination. 40 letters, 57 syllables, 17 heavy, 23 light, all four. Both Ślokas are made equal in number. The need for this is that these mutually, through the result of the action of two by two, deduce the number of the other from itself. It seems that the examples were not covered as in the treatise of the combination itself, but for convenience, examples that are easy to understand the common number were used. For example, the example of jāti-phroda has just passed. Half before the sixth is "kha" or etc., just as using terms indicating rest etc. to determine two understandings as one, just as in the great treatises, it is not always written in a way that the meaning of the words is equal in weight, but from the perspective that the speaker is easy to express and the listener is easy to understand, it seems that there are many such considerations. I understand it this way, how to tell depends on you, please use the discernment wisdom of discriminating knowledge. Yesterday, in a conversation with Chöpel, there was a little talk about the accomplishment of the Buddha's voice, etc.

Now, although I don't quite remember the order and details in my mind, it seems that most of it was explained in conjunction with the Drum Sound Sutra. If that's the case, the sutra says, "The etymology of the word 'Buddha' is the etymology of being learned and realized. The etymology of 'Buddha' and the etymology of 'Nirvana' are not like that." Just as the etymology of being learned and realized does not diminish, so too have I become the Nirvana of realization." As it is said, the etymology of 'Buddha' is being learned and understood. For which etymology expresses the past tense, there are two: kta and ktavantu. Kta is used for the action of things, and ktavantu is used for the agent of time. For example, the act of weaving a mat, for the past event, is expressed as kṛtaḥ kaṭaḥ (Sanskrit Devanagari: कृतः कटः, Sanskrit Romanization: kṛtaḥ kaṭaḥ, Chinese literal meaning: done mat), so these words of the Drum Sound Sutra are the sutra that clearly distinguishes the last turning of the wheel and proclaims it in its own language. Because the sudden obscuration is without conventional truth, it is only appearance, so it is considered that the meaning of Buddha is the naturally pure result of being free from elaboration. Therefore, बुद्ध (Tibetan: བུདྡྷ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: बुद्ध, Sanskrit Romanization: buddha, Chinese literal meaning: Buddha) is established as the etymological meaning of being learned and realized, which is originally established, and it is used as an example. According to the method of practice of the Kalapa grammar, बुद्ध (Tibetan: བུདྡྷ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: बुद्ध, Sanskrit Romanization: buddha, Chinese literal meaning: Buddha) is the etymology of understanding. In the sixth chapter of krita, "For the initial action, kta is also used," so kta is used, followed by ka. In the eighth chapter of ā, "The dhā of gha, ḍha, dha, and bha is not, so ta, tha, etc. change dha to ta, dha." There, "For the fourth of dhuk, etc., is the third," so the etymological dha becomes da. Taking out the silent consonant and adding si, thus बुद्ध (Tibetan: བུདྡྷ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: बुद्ध, Sanskrit Romanization: buddha, Chinese literal meaning: Buddha) is accomplished. According to the grammar, kta and ktavatu are used in the etymology, so kta is used. After following dvi and completing the action of changing ta to dha, ñabhalajaba is done, thus accomplishment, etc. Like a son in front of his mother, I have frankly spoken out whatever I understand in my mind. If there are any contradictions or errors, please forgive me considering that it was spoken by me, a fool. Moreover, this time I happen to be going to Tsangtso to teach the Kalachakra, and I am not staying at home, so I could not extensively consult the examples of grammar, etc., with what I could do myself. Therefore, I could not explain in detail, please from the realm of omniscient wisdom...
