It is said that this is a necessary condition for the spontaneous generation of non-conceptual wisdom. Regarding the substances for empowerment, there seem to be one or two different details from the respective tantras, sadhanas, and empowerment rituals. However, in general, for the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantra, the common practice is, according to custom, to use the white bodhicitta of a pure man, the red bodhicitta of a woman of noble lineage, a capable mantra practitioner, or a pure monk, or the feces and urine of a pure young man, and the essence of the marrow of a brain rich in flesh that has not died from a malignant epidemic disease. These five substances are called the Five Nectars and are the fundamental materials. There is also the dung of a black cat (i.e., a black domestic cat), the meat of the four limbs of a sheep, a small amount of the practitioner's hair and nails, and guggul, etc. Nowadays, in practice, in order to generate a strong odor, the above materials are mixed together, and small amounts of camphor, nutmeg, and saffron are added, as well as white and red sandalwood, agarwood, especially upper black agarwood, and musk, etc. All these materials are mixed with a large amount of guggul, made into powder or pills, and then slightly moistened with blessed inner offerings. The empowerment mantra is recited for a long time, or at least one hundred and eight times. At the time of empowerment, the smoke produced by burning the ashes of corpses, called the fire of pretas, or if not available, any coal fire, is used to cense the row of initiates. The above is the traditional method of completing the substance practice. Presented as a response to the Sixth Dalai Lama. Presented as a response to the Sixth Dalai Lama. Regarding the question of what the difference is between Mahamudra and Dzogchen, most of the later Mahamudra masters mostly expounded it from the perspective of emptiness as negation, in accordance with the direct teachings of the intermediate wheel. But this is because most Tibetan readers and scholars only understand the nominal Mahayana and do not understand the key points of the tenets well. Therefore, all qualified meditation texts of the early Dagpo Kagyu, the Mahamudra of the Shangpa Kagyu, the Six Yogas, the Shije school, the Dzogchen school, etc., all contemplatives who renounce worldly thoughts, are expounded from the perspective of emptiness as non-negation of the final wheel. However, the difference lies in the fact that, in general, attachment to the characteristics of the object of focus will

Regarding the study and contemplation of these systems, there are the methods of analytical meditation based on Madhyamaka and other schools, as well as the Sutra and Tantra systems that prevent the object of focus, i.e., the attachment to appearances, and lead to the non-conceptual path, or the Kusāli's method of abiding meditation. These two systems appear, and the distinction between Mahāmudrā and Dzogchen is that for any phenomenon that arises, the nature of reality is expanded with the seal of Dharma, and the appearance and awareness are transformed into indivisible clarity and emptiness, which is the Mahāmudrā system. All dharmas are perfected in the realm of the self-arisen wisdom of the Dharma-nature Bodhicitta, therefore, in essence, self-arisen wisdom has no establishment of samsara and nirvana, and it is believed that this is primordial liberation, beyond acceptance and rejection, which is the Dzogchen system. Therefore, it is easy to understand the rough differences of the profound distinctions. Among them, the Dagpo Kagyu Mahāmudrā practitioners believe that the abiding Dharma-nature Mahāmudrā is based on the views of the Sutra King of Samādhi and the Uttaratantra, while the Bliss-Emptiness Mahāmudrā is the wisdom arising from Tantric empowerment, and they believe that these two different lineages were bestowed upon the Venerable Marpa. All other schools with the name Mahāmudrā, such as the Shangpa Kagyu, and all the Six Yogas, Five Stages, Lamdré, etc. that have appeared in Tibet, are considered to be the wisdom Mahāmudrā arising from empowerment. The Shijé practitioners believe that its essence is Prajñāpāramitā, which is in accordance with Tantra, and they believe that the view of Prajñāpāramitā can be quickly guided through the profound path of Tantra, and therefore it has excellent advantages. If Dzogchen is divided internally, there are the Mind Series (Semdé), Space Series (Longdé), and Instruction Series (Mengakdé). Among them, the Mind Series believes that all appearances are mind, and the nature of mind manifests as self-arisen wisdom, and believes that there is nothing that has transformed into anything other than self-arisen wisdom. This way of guiding the path is very similar to Mahāmudrā, but in essence there is a great difference. Mahāmudrā expands the object, while the Mind Series establishes the nature of the subject's mind as awareness-emptiness, primordial purity. The Space Series believes that there is no other place to go beyond the space of Dharmatā Samantabhadrī, therefore, its view is to prevent other things from arising from outside the realm of Dharmatā. This school attaches great importance to luminosity, which is similar to the New School's Five Stages, but in essence there is a great difference. The Five Stages are the binding of the functions of the five winds.
