It's not just a superficial promise. Thus it is said. Ultimately, saying that all sentient beings will be liberated from samsara is a lie, because the sentient beings to be liberated and the self that liberates are not established in the ultimate truth. As it is said in the *Two Examinations Tantra*: 'The so-called liberation of the world from samsara is the vigorous proclamation of false words.' And in the *Sutra Spoken by Manjushri*: 'Without observing self and sentient beings, liberation from samsara is a lie.' Thus it is said. Furthermore, in the commentaries on the Mind class, it is said that when the wind dissolves into the heart chakra, the unobstructed sound of self-appearance arises in all its aspects, which is the definitive meaning. Apart from that, in external appearances, simultaneously showing various Dharma doors to sentient beings is the provisional meaning. As it is said in the *Vajra Heart Commentary*: 'When the life-wind is consumed, in an instant, with sound to all beings, to whomever it corresponds, the Dharma that suits them is taught, which is a false word.' Thus it is said. To partake of the five meats, alcohol, and all objects is the complete purification of ignorance, the lineage of the Tathagata, the samaya of Vairochana. Among these three, in the provisional meaning, in order to destroy the pride of lineage and the clinging to purity, the five meats that are not killed for the purpose of eating are permitted in the center of the country. Therefore, the meat of animals that have died by their own karma can be eaten as samaya substances, and if there is no fault of intoxication, alcohol can also be drunk. As it is said in the *Two Examinations Tantra*: 'Therefore, for the sake of musk, meat is to be eaten, especially alcohol.' Thus it is said. Similarly, it is permissible to indulge in the bliss of the five ambrosias and objects such as forms as desired. In the definitive meaning, eating the five meats is binding the essence of the five senses; drinking alcohol is binding the co-emergent bliss of the descending and ascending, making it easy to melt and without leakage; the five ambrosias purify the collection of dissolving bindu particles from binding the essence of the five elements; and enjoying all objects is stabilizing the essence of excrement, urine, and semen in the navel in a reverse manner. Alternatively, partaking of these is making all conceptual thoughts into one taste in the realm of equality. As it is said: 'Conceptual and total thoughts, illusions such as existence and non-existence, the collection of seeds of the net of conceptual thoughts, are consumed by non-conceptual thought, the supreme vessel of compassion.'
