Action: Reciting dharani mantras such as the Vajrasattva Hundred Syllable Mantra, which praises the purification of sins. To cherish emptiness means to examine the nature of sins, such as what they are and where they reside, and then to rest in a state of non-objectification. These are known as the six methods of universally applying antidotes. The power of restoration is to vow not to commit these sinful actions, even if it means risking one's life, and not to engage in wrongdoing. Furthermore, regarding the differences in objects of focus, the two heavy sins of hatred that harms sentient beings and ignorance that harms the Dharma, as well as other sins of attachment and mere hatred, should be confessed in sequence to ten or five assemblies of those holding the Mahayana precepts, or to one or two individuals. If such an object cannot be found, then confess to all the Three Jewels. In particular, by prostrating to the Thirty-Five Buddhas six times during the day and night, and reciting the Sutra of the Three Heaps (confession, rejoicing, and dedication), one can purify and restore the remaining sins that are not root sins, or those that could not be remedied due to forgetfulness or lack of mindfulness. As it is said in the Bodhicharyavatara: "Three times each day and night, one should recite the Sutra of the Three Heaps, and rely on the Victorious Ones and the Bodhichitta, which will pacify the remaining sins." Some holy individuals with sharp faculties, first confess with words in the presence of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who pervade the sky, in a manner like illusion and dreams. Then, by examining and analyzing the nature of the sins themselves, and resting in the state of recognizing their nature as being like the sky, without inherent existence, they will be liberated from all sins and transgressions. As it is said in the Sutra of Extensive Ten Directions: "If one wishes to make confession, sit upright and look correctly. Look correctly at reality. Seeing reality, one is completely liberated. That is the supreme confession." Thus, summarizing the three remedies according to the differences in faculties is the view of the Krishnapa. As it is said: "Some inferior individuals, due to clinging to reality, regret and feel remorse in their hearts, confessing their faults to others. Afterwards, by taking vows, they gradually distance themselves from sins, and after a long time, they are able to rise above them. Some intermediate individuals use mantra and secret"

Having pleased the mantra deities, such as the bodhisattva Akashagarbha, and having received the blessings of the deities, one arises from the downfall. Some holy beings, by understanding what is said to be a downfall as the mind of enlightenment itself, abide without effort, as it is said in the Mahayana Sutra: "Manjushri, whichever bodhisattva knows that there is no action and no ripening, that one obtains the complete purification of the obscurations of action." As it is said. Secondly, according to the system of the noble Asanga, identifying the causes of abandonment and the method of rectifying transgressions. The first is: If the aspiration mind engages in the four black dharmas, abandoning sentient beings from the heart will cause abandonment. Continuously engaging, without shame or embarrassment, delighting in it, and regarding it as a virtue. The view of great entanglement destroys the vows. It is called defeat, not minor or intermediate. That is to say, the root is abandoning sentient beings, and the branches are engaging in the four black dharmas, then the basis, the aspiration mind, is abandoned, and by abandoning it, the dependent, the engaging mind, is also abandoned. For the sake of gain and honor, praising oneself and disparaging others, etc., continuously engaging in the four dharmas like the places of defeat, not even generating a small amount of shame and embarrassment, delighting in it, and regarding it as a virtue, if the four branches are complete, then it is a downfall of great entanglement, and because it destroys the vows, it is called defeat. If any one of the branches is complete, and a little shame and embarrassment arise, and one is turned away by the exhortation of others, then it is an intermediate entanglement. If one generates great shame for any one of the branches, and without relying on other conditions, one quickly turns away from it oneself, then it is a small entanglement. These two do not abandon the vows. Then, in the "Definitive Collection," on the basis of combining the two causes of abandonment into one, adding the arising of the opposite of non-vows, abandoning the vows, and the complete four branches of entanglement above the intermediate level, a total of four causes of abandonment are taught, is this not contradictory? It is not contradictory, because the two causes of abandonment spoken of here are rough distinctions made according to the view of the Bodhisattva Ground, for the sake of those of intermediate and dull faculties. As it is said in the Sutra of Means,
