Having started to kill and not stopping, ultimately the life force is cut off, and also causing killing, rejoicing, praising, etc. as conditions (is a root downfall). This is said because the origin is that in the land of Spong, many monks meditated on the contemplation of ugliness, and because their bodies were impure, they became disgusted and hid their practice and caused killing, and therefore it was established. There are four branches: The basis is a human or one who has become human, who is a different continuum from oneself. The intention is to think of killing, and not being mistaken. The motivation is to have recognition of the object to be killed, so the mind of killing is continuous. The action is starting to kill with poison, weapons, etc., and not stopping, so that ultimately in this life or another life, before the killer himself dies, the life of the one to be killed is cut off. In the Three Hundred Verses it says: Whoever abides in their own nature, upholding the precepts, and regards another person as a human, and kills with a mind of killing without error, except for a person in a dream, will be destroyed by it. Moreover, it is not only killing oneself, but also causing others to kill, or rejoicing in and praising killing, etc. as conditions, it is the same if they die. If many monks deliberate and one kills, all will incur a Parajika offense. As it says in the Treasury of Knowledge: In war, etc., for one purpose, all are like the one who acts. The fourth is the Parajika of lying: The basis of lying is a person who can speak and understand, the intention is to change recognition and generate the thought of lying, the action is saying that one has qualities such as clairvoyance, etc., even though one does not, telling a great lie, and ultimately if another person understands that lie, one falls (into Parajika). This is said because the origin is that in the city of Vaishali, five hundred monks who had ordained from being fishermen told great lies, and therefore it was established. There are four branches: The basis is the object to whom one lies, a person with five characteristics who is a different continuum from oneself: able to speak, able to understand the meaning, consciousness abiding in its own nature, not a hermaphrodite or a person with two sets of genitals. The object of what is said is any quality of the world and beyond the world from the first dhyana to the Buddha, which is higher than the desire realm. As the Sakya Lama says: Here, the five obscurations are heard as the Dharma of humans, and when these are exhausted, they are considered the supreme Dharma. The intention is to change recognition and tell a lie.

Having the thought of wanting to speak. Even without the collection of qualities that surpass others, such as combination and direct perception, one speaks without the arrogance of false manifestations of human dharma superiors, with language possessing six characteristics, or strives to accept what others have said. The six characteristics of language are: being language, being one's own, being related to one's nature, being without error, being clear, and speaking manifestly. Ultimately, if others understand it that way, it is a defeat. Third is summarizing the meaning: Whichever of these four is used, the bhikshu will be defeated. The all-knowing one said that these are called the four pārājikas. That is to say, whichever of these four dharmas is used, if all the limbs are not complete as stated in their respective causal aggregates, it is a sthūlāpatti, and if they are complete, it is a fundamental pārājika. Because the opposing side destroys the antidote, this bhikshu is judged to be defeated, therefore the all-knowing one said that these are called the four pārājikas. Similarly, in the Prātimokṣa it is said: Bhikshus, if they commit any of these offenses, then just as it was in the beginning, so too will they be defeated later, and they should not be allowed to dwell and enjoy with the bhikshus. Second, regarding the saṃghāvaśeṣa section, there are two parts: the teaching and the explanation. First, the teaching: Known as the thirteen saṃghāvaśeṣas. That is to say, protection depends on the saṃgha, and because of the remaining of the pure precepts, it is called saṃghāvaśeṣa. Its definition is: Any offense in the continuum of one who has taken full ordination, which, if confessed by the name of saṃghāvaśeṣa, can be purified. Classification: Internally, there are five attachments to sentient beings, and externally, there are two attachments to possessions, which are the seven arising from desire; two arising from harm; and four arising from admonishment, totaling thirteen. Second is the detailed explanation: Ejaculating semen in an inappropriate place, grasping the parts of a woman's body with attachment, openly speaking obscene words, respecting a woman because of lust, men and women gathering and meeting by acting as intermediaries for each other, building houses and large buildings exceeding the limit for one's own sake, having no reason or just a little pretext, relying on this to slander bhikshus, causing dissension in the saṃgha, following those who cause dissension in the saṃgha, violating the precepts, when revealing the faults of a family, slandering the expeller, when urging the occurrence of an offense,
