The three states of impurity, purity, and complete purity correspond to three names: impure, pure, and completely pure, in order, are sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas. Thus it is said. Similarly, although the essence of the Dharmadhatu has no good or bad, depending on the way of realization, there are distinctions of the three vehicles; depending on the order of realization of the pure aspects, there are distinctions of the four noble individuals. Just as vessels appear good or bad, but the inner space has no good or bad. Thus, it is said in that scripture: The forms of shapes are inferior, intermediate, and superior, like space. Having briefly explained the element to be purified, next, the ultimate result is explained. In the Praise of Dharmadhatu it says: Like a lamp inside a vase, it is not visible outside; similarly, this Dharmadhatu, in Samsara, the light is not clear. When that vase is broken, then everything is visible. When with the Vajra of Samadhi, all obscurations are destroyed, then the ultimate expanse of space is clear. Thus, the radiance of the Dharma-nature, the basis to be purified, combines with the defilements of Samsara, from which arises the aspect of the path of purification, which becomes the antidote to purify the defilements. Here, in terms of the ultimate result, the essence of the path of the three vows, which is the path of mantra of the Vidyadharas, purifies the defilements of the element through the two, maturation and liberation, so that the ground as it is manifests. At the ultimate time, the supreme perfection of the fruit is characterized by the three greatnesses: the body in which the two obscurations and their habitual tendencies are completely purified is the Great Abandonment; the wisdom that sees the entire mandala of knowable objects is the Great Realization; and by that power, the benefit of all beings is constantly, pervasively, and spontaneously accomplished is the Great Mind. In the Ornament of Clear Realization it says: Sentient beings are all supreme, namely mind, abandonment, and realization; one should know that this is the essence of the three great self-arising natures. Having become like that, the totality of all Buddhas, the nature inseparable from the three bodies and five wisdoms, is the Great Vajradhara. The three bodies are: all phenomena are without characteristics.

Because of understanding this, all elaborations are ceased, and the aspect of manifesting the wisdom nature of pure essence is the Dharmakaya. Because sudden purity reaches its ultimate limit, the aspect of seeing all phenomena as pure and boundless appearances with extremely pure wisdom is the Sambhogakaya. The aspect of the wisdom of compassion and power that possesses the qualities of being able to show the play of body and activities in other appearances to be tamed is the Nirmanakaya. These are the three Kayas gathered by one's own continuum. These two wisdoms, due to the purification of the minds of those to be tamed and the convergence of the causes of aspiration prayers, the two Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya of other appearances appear like reflections of the moon in water. As stated in the Uttaratantra: "Just as on a pure ground of lapis lazuli, the image of the body of the lord of gods appears, so too, on the pure ground of sentient beings' minds, the image of the body of the Sage appears." The five wisdoms are: the extremely pure, free from elaboration wisdom is the Dharmadhatu wisdom. The aspect of seeing all phenomena clearly and without conceptualization with it is the Mirror-like wisdom. Realizing all phenomena seen in this way as equal is the Equality wisdom. Knowing all phenomena distinctly without moving from the essence of emptiness is the Discriminating wisdom. The impartial great compassion that equally engages all sentient beings, and acting without obstruction for the benefit of beings is the All-Accomplishing wisdom. Therefore, those who seek the unsurpassed Bodhi are certain to attain the ultimate fruit with complete intention, which is the one and only perfect Buddha. This must be accomplished by the path of the unsurpassed secret mantra alone, as will be explained next. The second part has four points: identifying the single path; explaining how all paths of liberation are included in the nine vehicles; proving that each of the three types of individuals has a path to enter the mantra; although there are many different ways to enter the mantra path due to differences in intelligence, it is shown that it will not be discussed here. The first part has three points: explaining that the ultimate result cannot be obtained without relying on the mantra path itself; explaining how all other vehicles become the steps of that path; thus proving that the mantra path is the only path. The first point is: Although the doors of profound and vast Dharma are countless
