The divine eye and peace, etc. The power of wisdom is tenfold. Thus it is said. The reasoning is: the ten powers of Dharma are like a vajra, because they can destroy their respective opposing forces. The second is: the Tathagata's fearlessness is fourfold, namely, the fearlessness of promising that one has manifestly and completely awakened to Buddhahood by manifestly realizing all the Dharma as it is and as many as it is; and the fearlessness of teaching the Dharma that obstructs the attainment of liberation by afflictions such as desire, and must be prevented; and the fearlessness of teaching all the paths of the three vehicles that necessarily lead to liberation from samsara; and the fearlessness of promising that one has attained the cessation of exhausting all that should be abandoned. That is, as mentioned earlier: All Dharmas are completely enlightened, Obstacles are what prevent, Teaching the path and teaching cessation, Fearlessness is of four kinds. Thus it is said. The reasoning is: the four fearlessnesses of Dharma, there is no fear in promising, because one cannot argue in accordance with the Dharma of others. The third is: the eighteen unshared qualities of the Tathagata, namely, the bodily conduct caused by the three poisons is not confused, the speech conduct caused by it is not chattering, the memory of speaking of past meanings does not fade, the mind is not always in equanimity, there are no various perceptions that hold samsara and nirvana to be different in nature, and for those who should be tamed, even when the time is ripe, there is no equanimity of abandoning them without individual examination, the conduct of the mind is fourfold, and there are six included in conduct. Constantly and continuously accomplishing the benefit of beings equal to space, having the intention to do so, diligence in rejoicing in benefiting others, memory of seeing all Dharmas as they are, wisdom that distinguishes Dharmas, liberation from obscurations, and wisdom that has power over all Dharmas, the wisdom of the nature of liberation from obscurations, seeing all that is knowable, without fading, these are six included in realization. The activities of body, speech, and mind are all led by wisdom and are {followed} by wisdom.

Following the earth, namely, the three gathered by deeds. For all the dharmas of the three times, the wisdom gaze that is unattached and unobstructed enters, the three gathered by knowing, totaling eighteen. Furthermore, in the former: There is no confusion or chatter, In showing, there is no loss of mindfulness, There is no unequal abiding mind, There are no various perceptions, There is no unexamined abandonment, Aspiration, diligence, mindfulness, And wisdom, liberation, of liberation, The wisdom gaze does not diminish, All actions are preceded by wisdom, In time, wisdom has no obscuration. Thus, these eighteen and others, Are the Teacher's unmixed qualities. Thus it is said. The combined words are: The eighteen unmixed dharmas, are the subject to be established. Because they are unmixed with other beings and noble ones, they are called unmixed, Because they are established as the unique qualities of the Buddha himself. Secondly, the thirty-two marks of the Great Person of the Thus-Gone One, in the Ornament for Clear Realization it is said: Hands and feet marked with wheels and turtle's feet, Hands and feet with webbed fingers, Hands and feet are soft and youthful, This body has seven full places, Long fingers and wide heels, body tall and straight, Hidden ankles, hair growing upwards, Calves like antelope, long and beautiful hands, Hidden genitals in a sheath, most excellent, Golden skin, thin skin, Each hair grows from a single pore and curls to the right, Full cheeks like a lion, upper body like a lion, This one's arms are round, shoulders full, This one experiences the best taste even in unpleasant flavors, Body like a banyan tree, width equal to height, Crown of the head full, long and beautiful tongue, Brahma's voice, cheeks like a lion, and teeth, Extremely white, equal in size, closely aligned, Numbering forty, complete and full, Eyes are dark blue, eyelashes excellent. Similar to these are the thirty-two marks. Thus it is said. Those are the sixty-four qualities, in the Uttaratantra, although the basis of distinction, the thirty-two marks, are actually proclaimed, the distinguishing characteristics, the minor marks, are not mentioned because they are complete in meaning, if elaborated, from the former: The Buddha's nails are copper-colored, Color glossy and high, and the fingers, Round and full, limbs slender, Veins not visible, and without knots, Hidden ankles, feet level,
