In addition, conducting extensive activities such as transmitting the Dharma, listening, and offering advice also places a burden on the Sangha, and one does not know what faults one might commit, so one should be both detailed and concise. In particular, one should not be too close or too distant to anyone, respect those of high status, be friendly with equals, and be skilled in caring for those of lower status; in short, one should adopt good behavior. Unless it is within the monastery (glīng), do not make special requests at the Labrang (bla brang, the residence of a living Buddha), and do not privately convey information to close relatives, except for performing rituals for the deceased. Regarding the offerings of patrons, whether good or bad, do not praise the good aspects or denigrate the bad aspects, but be content with what is received and do not develop wrong views about the offerings; this is very important. In particular, be humble when boiling water for tea, and do not argue about what is needed. Regarding the rules for offering tea, etc., prioritize the wishes of the patron and do not insist that it must be done in a certain way. Except for special personnel such as attendants, do not go to the kitchen or stay by the stove; the Sangha's courtyard and Dharma hall, as well as one's own room, etc., should be cleaned diligently, seeing the five benefits of cleaning, and one's belongings should be arranged neatly. Do not urinate, defecate, or spit in these places or by the water, and do not litter. If someone makes a place dirty, have the person who made it dirty clean it up. Do not shout loudly in the middle of the monastery. If someone makes noise, impose a fine of one hundred to twenty, depending on the situation. Do not allow family members, etc., to enter one's room without special permission. Do not allow idlers or beggars into the middle of the monastery, and give food outside the door. Do not privately possess or use the Sangha's property, and do not take even a small blade of grass; one should always think of the community. In general, frequently going to other people's homes is also a cause of increasing worldly desires, so do not go. If it is necessary to go due to special circumstances such as the illness or death of parents or siblings, do not exceed a day's journey for the round trip. If going out

For a slight delay, there is a fine of twenty-one prostrations. For a one-day delay, offer a butter lamp with three wicks. For a month or more, such freedom is difficult, so offer many teas and lamps, etc., according to the distance and duration, as a reminder. The main thing is that the main cause of attaining Buddhahood depends on hearing and thinking. Therefore, from the beginning of entering the monastery, in order not to let wisdom develop bad habits and become indulgent, one must rely on the Khenpo of the monastery and the individual teachers, starting from learning the four types of conduct, acting cautiously. For the reading and writing of texts, rituals, and practice manuals, etc., skilled guidance should be given so that they do not become dull, and are clear and accurate. Then, according to the level of each person's wisdom, arrange the daily lessons, except for collective activities. Apart from the time for exams and handovers, the handover of lessons should be strictly managed like an ant nest and honey, and both teachers and students should take responsibility for cultivating wisdom. Depending on the level of wisdom, comprehensive exams or three-part exams, etc., should be completed within five years of enrollment. If both sides are negligent, for lessons not completed in one day, and for situations not arranged according to the level. Before the age of fifteen, students must complete five extra assignments each day, and teachers must offer ten butter lamps. After the age of sixteen, if it is not completed, each person must bear the responsibility and not blame the teacher. These details should be discussed with the respective teachers, the Khenpo of the monastery, and the disciplinarian, and there should be no omissions in the handover of their respective duties. After that, according to the entry point of each person's wisdom, for the visualization sequence and practice of various rituals, one must engage in thorough hearing and thinking. For chanting, musical instruments, dances, tormas, mandalas, Cham dances, etc., which are indispensable for carrying out activities in the monastery, they must be accurate and strictly followed. In terms of recitation, there should be a vow of silence. In terms of handicrafts, do not be lazy. Then, according to each person's wisdom, study the general explanation of the common vehicle, as well as the general commentary on the glorious Guhyagarbha Tantra, and the definitive self-tradition.
