The text of the Ogyen Mindrolling Monastery's regulations, entitled "The Sun that Clarifies What to Adopt and Abandon." Rigdzin Gyurme Dorje. The text of the Ogyen Mindrolling Monastery's regulations, entitled "The Sun that Clarifies What to Adopt and Abandon." The source of all the qualities of the complete Buddhas, the wondrous illusory, vast Vajra Body. Padma Sambhava, the complete protector of the hundred families. May the assembly of Vidyadharas with the lineage be victorious. The ultimate Dharmadhatu, the unchanging body, the very essence of all things. The unceasing display, the treasury of the inexhaustible adornment wheel of the Sambhogakaya cloud. The compassionate, incomparable Shakya King, whose emanations follow beings. I prostrate to him, the protector of the three realms, the supreme field of the Dharma assembly spoken by him. With unobstructed wisdom vision, the laws established to lead one's retinue to the path of liberation. Possessing the wealth of benefit and happiness, the three precious trainings are revered by the crown of the heads of the ocean of Bodhisattvas. Its stainless light, which clarifies what to adopt and abandon, is the sun that dispels the darkness of hundreds of faults. Courage dances on the shoulders of the eastern mountains. From this, all good paths of benefit and happiness are shown. Moreover, our teacher, endowed with great compassion, through the power of his wondrous aspiration and prayer, appears as the supreme emanation in this age of strife. The profound and vast wheel of the peaceful nectar of the sacred Dharma is turned in accordance with the capacity of those to be tamed. The lords of the ten bhumis and the Arhats with the eye of Dharma successively compiled the teachings. The six ornaments prophesied by the Buddhas, the two supreme ones, and other great chariot masters of the Panditas and Siddhas widely propagated it. In this land of snow mountains, in general, the Dharma kings, Bodhisattvas prophesied in the Manjushri Root Tantra, propagated it. In particular, the sovereign Trisong Detsen invited the great teacher Padma Sambhava, the embodiment of all Buddhas, and the Abbot Shantarakshita, and other Panditas and Siddhas.
