If it is night, start by determining the time with the constellations. The ceremony for you to receive full ordination as a Bhikshu has three parts: preliminary, main, and concluding. The preliminary and main parts allow you to receive the Bhikshu's precepts in your continuum. Now the concluding part has two sections, the first is to know who should be respected and who should not, based on the time of ordination. From "..." to "Khenpo so-and-so" as before. After that, the Karma Acharya so-and-so, the secret teaching Acharya so-and-so, in the midst of the complete assembly of faithful monks, you have received the precepts of full ordination. So be sure to ascertain that. Those who should be respected are: those who are senior to oneself in monastic age, and the co-named Bhikshus who naturally abide. Those who should not be respected are: Bhikshus who are younger than oneself, and the three special cases of those who are older but live in other places, all Bhikshunis, both older and younger, renunciates who have not received full ordination, and all laypeople from Upasaka downwards. Among them, the difference between older and younger is from... If there is bowing and respectful offering, then accept it. Calculating in this way, if Bhikshus appear who have received ordination at the same time, from... to "Please listen to this" as before. After that, the Karma performer says: All that the virtuous spiritual friend has said must also be kept in mind and put into practice. Now the second part of the conclusion is the time to speak the instructions for the sake of not losing and increasing the precepts that have been obtained. Moreover, it is not enough for you to merely obtain the Bhikshu's precepts, you must protect them with cherishing care, and in order to understand what to adopt and abandon, the eleven instructions that have been spoken are also summarized into two types: the object of training and the antidote of the subject of training. Among the instructions on the object of training, there are two types: directly stating the main content of what is to be trained, and not directly stating but implying others. First, it is the time to directly state the main content of what is to be trained. Among them, there are four kinds of purity, the first is the instruction on pure living of what to rely on: In order to not lose the Brahmacharya that has been so well obtained, one must rely on the four places that abandon the two extremes, the general exhortation is this: Venerable so-and-so.

Listen, you who are called so-and-so. These four are: The Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, the Knower and Seer, has declared the place of a monk who has thus renounced and taken full ordination. If one dwells therein, then the Dharma and Vinaya well-spoken by the monk, renunciation and full ordination become the property of the monk. There are four specific instructions, the first of which is the instruction to rely on not falling into two extremes. The desire to seek good and benefit, abandoning the extreme of alms, is to be content with meager clothing. The instruction says: What are the four? Among clothes, patched robes are easy to obtain and lawful. If one dwells therein, then the Dharma and Vinaya well-spoken by the monk, renunciation and full ordination become the property of the monk. You who are called so-and-so, are you willing to live on patched robes for as long as you live? He replies: I am willing. Even if one can obtain excellent clothes without effort, such as clothes worth a million karshapanas, one should not develop attachment, but use them as needed. This is the instruction to abandon the extreme of toil and fatigue. In particular, if one obtains silk, or large pieces of cloth, or fine cotton, or silk, or mondala, or large pieces of fine cotton, or red fine cotton, or fine cotton, or red wool, or fine cloth from Kashmir, or suitable colors, or unsuitable colors, or wool clothing, or Shana cloth, or Zarma cloth, or cotton cloth, or Dugula cloth, or Kotamba cloth, or sunshade cloth, or any other lawful clothing, obtained from the Sangha or an individual, you should also take it in moderation. How do you vow to stay in such a place? He replies: I vow. Second, in the instruction to rely on food without falling into two extremes, the desire to seek good and benefit, abandoning the extreme of alms, is to be content with meager food. The instruction says: You who are called so-and-so, listen. Among foods, alms are easy to obtain and lawful. If one dwells therein, then the Dharma and Vinaya well-spoken by the monk, renunciation and full ordination become the property of the monk. You who are called so-and-so, for as long as you live, living on alms
