What is realization? It is the subsequent wisdom that becomes its result, and the special actions of body and speech that accompany it. There are three types of classification: by nature, by quality, and by object. The first two are the same as before. The third is the sixteen lines of reasoning that are contained in the sixteen moments of knowing and enduring. The third, the definition is: any reasoning that is irreversible. Any Bodhisattva on the path of meditation who possesses this reasoning has the ability to make him irreversible. The example is: the continuum of a Bodhisattva on the path of meditation with medium faculties, etc., as before. There are three types of classification, the first two are the same as before. The third has: the reasoning of profound arising, the reasoning of profound cessation, the reasoning of suchness, the reasoning of profound object, the reasoning of profound knowledge, the reasoning of profound practice, the reasoning of non-duality of grasper and grasped, and the reasoning of skillful means, a total of eight. The second has: the reasoning of nature, the reasoning of result, and the reasoning of non-apprehension, a total of three. The first is: a Bodhisattva on the path of joining with sharp faculties, the nature of phenomena, it is possible for omniscient wisdom to arise uninterruptedly in one's mind stream, because one is a son of the Buddha who has the complete causes and conditions for the uninterrupted arising of omniscient wisdom in one's mind stream. Thus it is established. In the Pramāṇavārttika it says: From the aggregation of causes, the result arises, whatever is inferred from it, because it does not depend on other meanings, it is said to be nature. Thus it is said. The second is: a Bodhisattva on the path of joining with sharp faculties who possesses special actions of body and speech in the subsequent attainment, the nature of phenomena, it is impossible to enter the Lesser Vehicle path from the perspective of both thought and action, because previously there were special actions of body and speech in the subsequent attainment that were not tainted by thoughts of self-interest and were seized by the special wisdom that realizes emptiness. For example, on a mountain with smoke, there is fire, because there is smoke. Thus it is established. Also, as it says in the Daśabhūmika Sūtra: From smoke, one knows fire, from water birds, one infers water, a Bodhisattva with intelligence, from valid reasoning...

As it is known. Third, a Bodhisattva on the path of application, who is of sharp faculties, is a person who does not turn back from the unexcelled Bodhi, because from the perspective of thought and practice, it is impossible for a prince to enter the path of the Lesser Vehicle. As it is established. Third, the way the scriptures teach is: In the *Body Differentiation*, in the chapter on "the assembly of learners who do not turn back," if we distinguish the Sangha who do not turn back, then, by what reason of non-retrogression is it established? To this, the Bodhisattva who does not turn back has three: the path of application, the path of seeing, and the path of meditation. First, explaining the path of application: In the decisive division, "Whatever Bodhisattvas abide, they are here the assembly of non-retrogression." As it is taught. Explaining them in detail is: "Signs such as turning back from forms," etc., as it is said. Also, "Signs such as turning back from forms, are declared in twenty ways." As the reason. "Abiding in the decisive division." As the subject. "Non-retrogression." As the predicate to be proven. By "this definition" it shows its pervasion, and similarly, it should also be known in the extensive explanation. Second, in the path of seeing, it is taught by the two phrases "Bodhisattva," etc. Explaining them in detail is: "The forbearance on the path of seeing," etc., as the teachings and explanations. Also, "The forbearance on the path of seeing, and the sixteen moments of wisdom." As the reason. "Bodhisattva" as the subject. "Non-retrogression" as the predicate to be proven. It should be known as the definition. Showing the establishment of pervasion. Third, in the path of meditation, it is taught by the two phrases "Bodhisattva," etc. Then, what is the nature of the path of meditation? If we distinguish, how many kinds are there? What is the basis of its signs? Explaining the characteristic that the Mahayana path of meditation has a profound difference from the Hinayana path of meditation in terms of the way of realizing the object is: "The path of meditation is profound," etc. Explaining the nature is: "The decisive division and the path of seeing," etc. Explaining the definite number is: "Because it is constant," etc. To this, explaining the elimination of disputes is: "Countless," etc. The abandonment of the Mahayana path of meditation is diminished, and the work of increasing the antidote is not done, because it is truly empty in the ultimate sense.
