This is to eliminate the duality. Second, due to the power of ignorance and habitual tendencies as a condition, and non-leaking karma as a cause, one takes the body of the mind's own nature, and it is said that there are inconceivable deaths and transfers. Second, regarding the path knowledge with limbs, there are three types: the path knowledge of the path knowledge of the Hearers, the path knowledge of the path knowledge of the Solitary Realizers, and the path knowledge of the path knowledge of the Great Vehicle. The first has four points: identifying the three paths of the knowable, how to know them, the object-possessing path knowledge, and how they are explained in the sutras and treatises. The first point is: the realization of the non-self of persons and the types of realization are the same as the knowable path of the Hearers. The divisions are: Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and the knowable path of the Hearers that exists in the continuum of the Great Vehicle. Similarly, the realization of the non-self of phenomena that is grasped and the knowable path of the Solitary Realizers are the same in meaning. The divisions are: Solitary Realizers, and the two that exist in the continuum of the Great Vehicle. The realization of the non-self of phenomena that is apprehended and the knowable path of the Great Vehicle, the Great Vehicle path, and the types of realization of the Great Vehicle are the same in meaning. If it is a type of realization of the Hearers, then it must be the knowable path of the Hearers, but if it is the knowable path of the Hearers, then it is not necessarily a type of realization of the Hearers. For example, the wisdom in the continuum of the noble northerners is the knowable path of the Hearers, but it is not a type of realization of the Hearers. Second, there are two types: the way of knowing what exists in the continuum of others, and the way of knowing one's own continuum. The first is: the noble northerners are said to know manifestly with the eye of Dharma the nature and characteristics of the types of realization that realize the non-self in the continuum of others. Because they can manifestly know the differences in the faculties of noble individuals who are equal to or lower than their own continuum. The sutra says: "For a mind with desire, one knows thoroughly as it is that it is a mind with desire." And so on. The second is: the way of knowing in subsequent attainment, and the way of knowing in meditative equipoise. The first is: in subsequent attainment, the noble northerners manifestly know the types of realization that realize the non-self of persons by experiencing them in their own continuum. The second is: in meditative equipoise, they regard the types of realization that realize it as unreal.

Because it is said to know in a non-referential way, that is, from the aspect of non-reference. Third, the definition is: being skilled in understanding the way of the Lesser Vehicle as it is, and increasing the qualities of the category of understanding, is the wisdom of the noble Mahayanists. The example is all the noble paths of the Mahayana. Fourth, in both the sutras and treatises mentioned here, both the knowable Hearer's path and the object-possessing path-wisdom are explicitly taught. Because the category of realization that directly realizes the sixteen aspects of the Four Truths, such as impermanence, and the path that directly realizes the path itself as unreal, are both explicitly taught. Moreover, regarding the nature of path-wisdom itself, the root text and commentary state: "With the four noble truths, this Hearer's path," explicitly teaching the knowable Hearer's path. With "From the aspect of non-reference, this Hearer's path," etc., the object-possessing path-wisdom is explicitly taught. The sutra says: "With the mind of generating all-knowingness, in a non-referential way, one should contemplate form as impermanent." From "All roots of virtue should also be dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment," etc. What is said is that the preliminary practice is the thought of all-knowingness, the main practice is non-reference, and the subsequent practice is the dedication of virtuous roots to complete enlightenment, that is, possessing three characteristics, which is the explicit teaching of object-possessing path-wisdom. With impermanence and suffering, etc., the knowable Hearer's path is explicitly taught. The knowable Hearer's path also has two types: those that exist in the continuum of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and those that exist in the continuum of Bodhisattvas. The former is taught indirectly, and the latter is taught directly.
