These two verses explain the four wisdoms of a Bodhisattva who realizes the emptiness of self, characteristics, distinctions, and objects of form, etc. The ninth basic dharma, the path of seeing, is, regarding the truths of suffering, etc., up to, completely and fully revealed. These six verses explain the sixteen moments of the path of seeing, namely, the forbearance of the knowledge of dharma, the knowledge of dharma, the forbearance of subsequent knowledge, and subsequent knowledge, for each of the four noble truths. The third section ends. The fourth section, the first of the four applications, the complete application, has eleven characteristics, the first of which is aspect, the distinctions of the basic knowledge, etc., up to, considered to be thirty-nine. The five verses in between explain the three aspects of basic knowledge, the aspects of the path knowledge, and the aspects of omniscient knowledge.

Regarding qualities, such as subduing the power of demons, there are fourteen qualities in total. These two lines speak of subduing the power of demons, the Buddha's thoughts and wisdom, manifestation, approaching Bodhi, the great significance itself, and so on, as well as observing the object, perfecting uncontaminated qualities, a person skilled in speech, being unshakable, generating uncommon roots of virtue, fulfilling vows, holding vast fruits, accomplishing the affairs of sentient beings, and the qualities of definitely obtaining the Mother, etc., fourteen qualities in total. The fourth perfection's faults are: faults include four sets of ten, which must be clearly understood as six. These two lines speak of the twenty obstacles to practice that depend on oneself, from obtaining through great effort to generating joy in an unreal object; the twenty-three incomplete favorable conditions that depend on either oneself or others; and the three obstacles that depend on others, totaling forty-six. The fifth perfection's characteristic is: What is the characteristic by which it is characterized? Up to "it is considered the fourth characteristic," these nineteen verses speak of the yoga of a Bodhisattva who combines calm and insight, which is the characteristic of Prajnaparamita yoga, as a means to obtain the fruit of Prajnaparamita. It has four characteristics: knowing characteristic, differentiating characteristic, acting characteristic, and self-nature characteristic. Some say that if each of the two, means and wisdom, is subdivided, there are 173 each. The sixth perfection, the part conforming to liberation, is: from giving without characteristics, etc., to "it is considered difficult for the dull-witted to realize," these three verses speak of the small, medium, and large parts conforming to liberation of the Great Vehicle, which are directly shown in an instant. The seventh perfection, the part conforming to ascertainment, is: from the object of warmth in this, to "it is known through maturation, etc.," these three verses speak of the part conforming to ascertainment of the Great Vehicle shown here, which are the four, such as the heat of the path of application. The eighth perfection, the sign of non-retrogression, is: from the branch of ascertainment, to "it is profound through skill in means," these twenty-two verses speak of the qualities of obtaining the sign of non-retrogression by those on the path of application.
