The benefits of the condensed essence. Divided into: 1. The Dharma wheel that has become the nature of realization; 2. The Dharma wheel obtained through the power of realization. The first is like the five, three, and fifteen branches of the path to liberation. The second is all cessation truths. Regarding the second, there are four aspects: definition, classification, individual characteristics, and dispute resolution. The first: What is the Dharma wheel? It is a well-spoken explanation that shows the realization Dharma wheel as the object to be expressed. It and the Buddha's teachings are coextensive and synonymous. Divided into: 1. The first teaching, the Dharma wheel of the four truths; 2. The intermediate teaching, the Dharma wheel of no characteristics; 3. The final teaching, the Dharma wheel of good distinction, these three. Regarding the individual characteristics of the three, there are two aspects: the correct reasoning to be explained, and the explanation of its meaning. The first: From the Samdhinirmocana Sutra: "Then, the virtuous Subhuti asked the Blessed One, 'O Blessed One, in the beginning, in the Deer Park at Varanasi (鹿野苑), the Blessed One turned the Dharma wheel of the four noble truths for those who had entered the Hearer Vehicle, which was wonderful and amazing, and which had never been turned in the world in accordance with the Dharma by any god or human before. This Dharma wheel turned by the Blessed One is supreme, timely, and of straightforward meaning, and has become the basis of dispute. The Blessed One, starting from the fact that all dharmas have no essence, and from no birth, no cessation, originally peaceful, and naturally completely liberated, for those who have entered the Great Vehicle, turned the second most rare and wonderful Dharma wheel in the form of proclaiming emptiness. The Dharma wheel turned by the Blessed One is also supreme, timely, and of straightforward meaning, and has become the basis of dispute. The Blessed One, starting from the fact that all dharmas have no essence, and from no birth, no cessation, originally peaceful, and naturally completely liberated, for those who have entered all vehicles, turned the third extremely rare and wonderful Dharma wheel with good distinction."
