Those forms, etc., are Dharmas. Of the middling forbearance. Its superimposition. The way of apprehending that the body, speech, etc., of the middling forbearance are realized as the cause of sudden purity in the Buddha-field is a Dharma. Of the middling forbearance. Its object. Those formless forms, etc., are Dharmas. Of the great forbearance. Its superimposition. Because the great forbearance does not rely on the characteristics of those forms, etc., the object of desire is not what is desired, and the perception of suchness is not to be made into a perceiver, the way of apprehending that is a Dharma. Of the great forbearance. Its object. The fourth is shown by samadhi, etc. The samadhis, such as the brave conduct to be meditated upon, are Dharmas. Of the small supreme Dharma. Its superimposition. The way of apprehending that the object of the small supreme Dharma, the activity of this samadhi, is to spontaneously enter into all the worlds, is a Dharma. Of the small supreme Dharma. Its object. The samadhis of the supreme Dharma of the path of application, which become the cause of the Buddha's prophecy, are Dharmas. Of the middling supreme Dharma. Its superimposition. The way of apprehending that the pride of thinking "I am in samadhi" is exhausted when the middling supreme Dharma is in samadhi, is a Dharma. Dharma. Its object. The three, meditation, meditator, and object of meditation, are Dharmas that are mutually of one essence. Great supreme Dharma. Its superimposition. The way of apprehending that the great supreme Dharma does not discriminate the three spheres in samadhi is a Dharma. Dharma. Its object. The second is shown by "Thus," etc. Thus, the four qualities of heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme Dharma, which are in accordance with the decisive division of the Great Vehicle, are Dharmas. If divided into subdivisions, they are three each. Because they are small, medium, and large, respectively. The second is the explanation of what is to be taken as discrimination and the explanation of what is to be taken as discrimination. The first is shown by "basis" and "that," etc. What is to be taken as discrimination is a Dharma. If divided, there are two types: the basis of completely afflicted afflictions and the basis of their antidote. The two discriminations to be taken are Dharmas. There are nine types each, namely, the former has nine types such as ignorance and unknowing, and the latter has nine types such as the aggregates of pure purity. The second is by substance and so on.

The teaching on the ground. The appearance of clinging, the conceptual thought, is also a dharma. It is considered to be of two types, because there are two types of support: the support that is substantially existent in a person and the support that is nominally existent in an individual. These two clinging thoughts are dharmas. If divided into subcategories, there are nine times nine, just like the divisions of the apprehended thought, because there are nine natures that focus on self-autonomy, etc., and nine from the distinctions of the dependent, which focus on the aggregates, etc. Thirdly, it is taught by "not being afraid of the mind," etc. By means of not being afraid or frightened of the mind, etc., it teaches disciples that all dharmas are without inherent existence, etc., and the supreme emanation body that has abandoned miserliness, etc., which are incompatible with this, is a dharma. In all aspects, it is the guide of the bodhisattva's path of joining, because it is always a virtuous friend who teaches the Dharma to the bodhisattva on the path of joining. Fourth, there are the actual subject matter and the refutation of doubts. First, as taught by "the dharma of conceptual thought," etc., the basis for accomplishment taught here, namely the lineage, is the object of knowledge. If divided, there are thirteen types. If you divide the accomplishment of your basis dharma, there are the accomplishment of the six dharmas of conceptual thought, the accomplishment of generating antidotes, the accomplishment of abandoning what is to be abandoned, the accomplishment of the path of liberation that completely severs those to be abandoned, the accomplishment of having wisdom and compassion, the accomplishment of disciples who are not in common with the Hearers, the accomplishment of accomplishing the benefit of others in order, and the accomplishment of entering into wisdom without effort. Secondly, there are two parts: stating the consequence and answering. First, as taught by "the realm of dharma," etc., the object of knowledge, the lineages of the three vehicles, should not be divided into three different types, because the realm of dharma is the lineage, and there is no possibility of dividing it into three different types. Secondly, as taught by "By the distinctions of the dependent dharmas, its divisions are completely expressed," the venerable Maitreya is a dharma. Although the realm of dharma does not have divisions of different lineages, the divisions of the three vehicle lineages can be completely expressed, because there are the dependent dharmas, namely the three distinctions of the accomplishments of the three vehicles.
