It is the Mahayana mind generation, because it is a special mind that aims at the perfect enlightenment for the benefit of others. The second is: "That and that, as said in the Sutra, are expressed through brevity and extensiveness." Thus, the venerable Maitreya, the protector, said that the object of mind generation, perfect enlightenment, and the activity of benefiting others are truly expressed. These two are expressed without error, just like the Mother Sutra, through the two ways of brevity and extensiveness. The third is: "That is also shown by earth, gold, moon, fire, etc." That Mahayana mind generation is also, in terms of Dharma nature, has twenty-two kinds of distinctions: like the mind generation of earth, like the mind generation of good gold, like the mind generation of the moon, like the mind generation of fire, like the mind generation of treasure, like the mind generation of the source of jewels, like the mind generation of the ocean, like the mind generation of the vajra, like the mind generation of the king of mountains, like the mind generation of medicine, like the mind generation of a virtuous friend, like the mind generation of a wish-fulfilling jewel, like the mind generation of the sun, like the mind generation of song, like the mind generation of a king, like the mind generation of a treasury, like the mind generation of a great path, like the mind generation of a good vehicle, like the mind generation of water of arrangement, like the mind generation of a musical instrument, like the mind generation of a river, and like the mind generation of clouds. The second is: generally showing the ten instructions, and specifically explaining the Sangha Jewel. The first is: "It is shown by practice and the truths, etc." The Mahayana instructions shown here are, in terms of Dharma nature, to be known as having ten natures. That is, the instruction that admonishes the essence of practice, the instruction that admonishes the four truths that are the object of practice, the instruction that admonishes the Three Jewels, such as the Buddha, the support, the instruction that admonishes non-attachment diligence, the instruction that admonishes non-tiring diligence, the instruction that admonishes the diligence of fully grasping the path, the instruction that admonishes the five eyes, and the instruction that admonishes the six qualities of superknowledge, the instruction that admonishes the Mahayana path of seeing, and the instruction that admonishes what is called the Mahayana path of meditation. The second is: dull and sharp faculties.

If divided in terms of the arising and ceasing of form, there are the peace of the present life and the manifestation of the body, these two; entering the Arhat fruit and names like rhinoceros horn, etc., because these exist. The third has two: brief explanation and extensive explanation. The first is explained by "object and aspect," etc. The basis is the individual Bodhi

Because it is based on form, etc., it has the aspect of realizing that there is no separation and no dwelling; because it is based on all the dharmas explained by the Great Bodhisattvas, it has the aspect of realizing that it is unspeakable. The four stages of the Mahayana path of joining, such as heat, etc., have the distinction of being the cause, because they are the cause of the Mahayana path of seeing, which fully obtains the reasons for the realization of all three vehicles. The second is: Form, etc., do not dwell, these are indicated by "etc." Form, etc., do not have self-nature in their own essence, so the form, etc., that do not truly abide, the dharma characteristic is: it is the object of the lowest peak, because it is the basis for cutting off superimposition. Because form, etc., and emptiness, non-reality, are one in nature, therefore the nature is one, so the lowest peak realizes that form, etc., are impermanent, and from the word "etc." it is understood that the clinging to non-constant dwelling, the dharma characteristic is: it is the aspect of the lowest peak, because it is the clinging to the realization of the object. Emptiness and impermanence, etc., because they are empty in their own essence, are mutually self-nature, so they are one in essence, these dharma characteristics are: it is the object of the middle peak, because it is the basis for cutting off superimposition. The middle peak does not cling to the dharmas of form, etc., as "I", whatever that clinging is, the dharma characteristic is: it is the aspect of the middle peak, because it is the clinging to the realization of the object. Form, etc., that do not appear as signs such as blue, etc., the dharma characteristic is: it is the object of the great peak, because it is the basis for cutting off superimposition. The wisdom of the great peak completely realizes that all dharmas are without object, the clinging, the dharma characteristic is: it is the aspect of the great peak, because it is the clinging to the realization of the object. The third is: Form, etc., are without self-nature, that absence is indicated by "etc." In the ultimate sense, the form, etc., that are without self-nature, the dharma characteristic is: it is the lowest forbearance…, because it is cutting off superimposition…. Lowest forbearance…. The clinging to the realization that form, etc., are not the nature of reality, the dharma characteristic is: it is the lowest forbearance…, because it is the realization of the object…. In the ultimate sense, there is no birth and no definite arising
