In the commentary on the practice called "Na," the discussion of the meaning of the words in the third section has been completed. The second main section, explaining the four practices of cultivation, is divided into two: the cause and effect of control, and the cause and effect of stability. The first is further divided into two: the cause of control, which is the practice of all aspects, and the attainment of control, which is the practice of the peak. The first is further divided into two: explaining the object to be represented in detail, and concluding by stating the number of sections. The first is further divided into two: a general explanation of the practice, and a specific practice. The first is divided into four: the objects of practice, the person who meditates, the divisions of practice, and the preliminary practices. The first is divided into: a brief explanation, and a detailed explanation. The initial brief explanation is indicated by "The distinctions of the base knowledge," etc. The distinctions of the wisdom of the Mahayana aryas who know the reality of the base are called aspects, and they are characterized as antidotes, because they are antidotes to the mistaken clinging to permanence, etc., in the aspects of the four truths of the base. That antidote, the subject, is asserted to be of three types, because omniscience itself exists in three types. The second is divided into three: explaining in detail the aspects of base knowledge, path knowledge, and all-knowingness. The first is indicated by "Starting from the aspect of non-existence," etc. This Mother is the Perfection of Wisdom of non-existence, starting from the aspect of non-existence, this Mother is the Perfection of Wisdom of immovability, up to the aspect of immovability, the twenty-seven aspects of base knowledge. That, the subject, has a way of explaining, because the sutra explains that the first three truths each have four aspects, and the truth of the path has fifteen aspects. The second is indicated by "Cause and path and suffering," etc. The aspects of path knowledge shown here, the subject, are thirty-six, because if the four truths and the number of their respective aspects are arranged in order, then the truth of the cause, the origin, has eight aspects, the truth of the path has seven aspects, the truth of suffering has five aspects, and the truth of cessation has sixteen aspects, as proclaimed in the sutra, therefore there are thirty-six aspects of path knowledge that realize them. The third is indicated by "Mindfulness and close placement," etc. The mindstream of the Buddha.

From the mindfulness of close placement onwards, all the forms of knowledge up to the ultimate form of the Buddha himself, in terms of their nature, in the continuums of the three types of individuals, there are three separate categories similar to the truth of the path of the three knowledges, and in accordance with this, since the aspects of omniscience are divided into three: the basis knowledge, the path knowledge, and the all-knowing, from the perspective of categories, they can be divided into many. If the three types of individuals and the three knowledges are applied sequentially, then the aspect of omniscience, for the noble disciples who are hearers, has thirty-seven aspects of the basis knowledge that are similar and in accordance with it; for the noble Bodhisattvas, there are thirty-four aspects of the path knowledge that are similar and in accordance with it; and for the Buddhas, there are thirty-nine aspects of omniscience that are uniquely possessed, so it is stated in the sutras that they can be distinguished in this way. Secondly, it is shown by "especially serving the Buddhas," and so on. The Bodhisattvas on the accumulation path who are embraced by the holy inner and outer guides, in terms of their nature, are vessels for listening to this Mother, because in the past they performed special deeds for the Buddhas and cultivated roots of virtue in those Buddhas, and trained their minds, which is the inner embrace; and because they have the outer embrace, the protection of virtuous spiritual friends. The Bodhisattvas on the path of joining who are embraced by the holy inner and outer guides, in terms of their nature, are considered by the holy ones to be vessels for taking the words of this Mother to heart, and for keeping the meaning without forgetting, and so on, for properly applying the mind, because in the past they relied on the Buddhas, and asked about all doubts, and enjoyed the ten perfections such as generosity and morality, which is the inner embrace; and because they have the outer embrace, the embrace of virtuous spiritual friends. Thirdly, it is shown by "Because form and so on do not abide," and so on. The great vehicle's practice, in terms of its nature, can be divided into twenty, namely, because it does not abide by clinging to form and so on, it is the practice of non-abiding; because it prevents the practice of clinging to form and so on, it is the practice of non-practice; because it deeply realizes the suchness of form and so on, it is the practice of profound basis knowledge; because it realizes the immeasurable way of abiding of form and so on, it is the practice of immeasurable omniscience.
