It is an inference. For example, the sound consciousness becomes the seer of form, because the eye consciousness is established by its own nature as the seer of form. Like that. Third, it is an inference that refutes true establishment through contradictory commitments. For example, the Realist, because it is truly established, cannot be abandoned by the power of the antidote. Like that. Fourth, it is an inference that criticizes the proof of the self-establishment of things. For example, the Realist says: The form aggregate exists by its own nature, because the consciousness aggregate exists by its own nature. If so, the existence of the consciousness aggregate by its own nature cannot be established as proof of the existence of the form aggregate by its own nature, because the reasoning that refutes the establishment of the form aggregate by its own nature can refute the existence of the consciousness aggregate by its own nature. Like that. From the Root Wisdom: If one argues with emptiness, whoever speaks in response, he has answered everything, and will become the same as what is to be established.

Because it is not, therefore it is emptiness. Because it exists, the existent does not arise. Because it is non-existent, the non-existent does not arise. Because the dharmas are not compatible, it is neither existent nor non-existent. Because there is no arising, there is no abiding or ceasing. Thus it is said. Fourth, there are two: refuting the extreme of non-existence and refuting the extreme of existence. First, the appearance of form, etc., is a dharma; it is not non-existent in conventional terms, because it is dependent arising. Second, that is a dharma; it is not existent in ultimate terms, because it is dependent arising. The Root Wisdom says: "Apart from dependent arising, there is no dharma whatsoever. Therefore, apart from emptiness, there is no dharma whatsoever." Thus it is said. Therefore, those individuals who seek liberation should dispel the wrong conceptions of clinging to reality and diligently cultivate the view of realizing selflessness, because ultimately attaining liberation depends on this. The Four Hundred says: "If one sees correctly, one dwells in the supreme state; if one sees a little, one also attains birth in a good realm; therefore, the wise should always cultivate intelligence regarding the inner self." Thus it is said. The meaning of the words is that the path of seeing of the Great Vehicle is a dharma; it is the view of the Madhyamikas, because it is the wisdom that directly realizes emptiness. Third, there are two: the nature of the peak practice of the path of seeing and the path of distinction. First, at the time of "generosity, etc., each," of the two, the first, the peak practice of the path of seeing, has two: definition and division. First, the definition is the direct realization of the truth of the Great Vehicle, in which each of the perfections is practiced with the six perfections complete. This and the path of seeing of the Great Vehicle have the same meaning. The division is the two encompassed by the path of non-interruption and the path of liberation. The meaning of the words is that the forbearance of the dharma of suffering of the path of seeing of the Great Vehicle is a peak practice of the path of seeing, because it is the direct realization of the truth of the Great Vehicle, in which each of the perfections, such as generosity, is practiced with the six perfections complete. Second, at the time of "from that lion's leap," although it is the time to establish dependent arising, it should also be known otherwise. Third, the peak practice of the path of meditation is at the time of "the nine successive absorptions together with cessation," of the two, the first, there are two: explaining the peak practice of the path of meditation and explaining the sudden leap. First, there is a definition; the definition is the meditation that gathers the three wisdoms.
