It is unreasonable, because it has the wisdom of realizing emptiness. If you accept, then it contradicts the statement in the Compendium Sutra that "Without skillful means and wisdom, one falls into being a Hearer." And it contradicts "Because one falls into existence and peace, the realization is inferior." For example, it is unreasonable to explain with the analogy that a blind person cannot directly see the orb of the sun, and the Lesser Vehicle cannot directly see the emptiness free from elaboration, because it has the wisdom of directly realizing emptiness. If you accept, then it contradicts the statement in the Uttaratantra that "The ultimate truth of the self-born ones is to be realized only by faith. The orb of the sun is blazing with light, but the blind cannot see it." It is unreasonable to say that a person of the Lesser Vehicle thinks of the benefit of others, obtains its means, realizes so many vast dharmas, and is separated from the four joys of realizing emptiness, because it has the wisdom of realizing emptiness. If you accept, then it contradicts the statement in the Ornament Sutra that "A person who has abandoned the great aspiration should abandon the mind of benefiting others and its means, abandon the great meaning and the joy of seeing that supreme, and he will go to peace." The meaning of the words is: The path of seeing of the Great Vehicle, the Dharma nature, is the basic wisdom that does not abide in existence and peace, because it is the wisdom of the Great Vehicle's noble ones who directly realize that the three between samsara and nirvana are without self-nature. That is from the perspective of focusing on characteristics. Of the two in that case, the first. The two basic wisdoms of being close to and far from the fruit mother. The definition of the first: the wisdom of the Bodhisattva noble one who is skilled in the means of cultivating the fruit mother. Example: like the path of seeing and meditation of the Great Vehicle. The definition of the second: the wisdom of the Lesser Vehicle's noble one who is not skilled in the means of cultivating the fruit mother. Example: like the three paths of seeing, meditation, and no more learning of the Lesser Vehicle. The meaning of the words is: The path of seeing of the Great and Lesser Vehicles, the Dharma nature, has the reason for establishing it as the basic wisdom of being close to and far from the fruit mother, because it is the basic wisdom that possesses both being skilled in cultivating it and not being skilled in cultivating it. Of the two in the case of form, etc., aggregates are emptiness, etc., the first. The object-possessing basic wisdom. What is to be abandoned is the grasping of characteristics. And the three ways in which these are abandoned by the antidote. The first. The antidote basic wisdom and

The two base knowledges of the opposing side. The definition of the first: The wisdom of the Mahayana Arya, which is not bound by the clinging to characteristics that clings to the three bases, paths, and results as characteristics. The definition of the second: The wisdom of the Hinayana Arya, which is bound by it. What is the meaning of bound and unbound? The base knowledge of the Mahayana is said to be unbound by the clinging to characteristics that clings to the three bases, paths, and results as characteristics, because by the power of its direct realization that the three bases, paths, and results are without inherent existence, it is able to abandon the clinging to characteristics that clings to the three bases, paths, and results as characteristics, together with its seeds, on its own path. The base knowledge of the Hinayana is said to be bound by it, because by the power of not realizing it in this way, it is not able to abandon its seeds on its own path. The second is the mind that grasps conditioned phenomena as independent, not relying on others. Among them, there are two types: the characteristic base included in afflictive obscurations, and the one included in cognitive obscurations. The first is like the innate self-grasping of a person, and the imputed one. The second is born from the self-grasping of phenomena, and is the gross stain of manifest clinging that clings to objects. Among them, there are two divisions from the perspective of grasping and objects. In the first, there are two types of clinging to characteristics, included in real clinging and imputed clinging. The first is like the self-grasping that conceives of the phenomena of objects and subjects as the three spheres. This has the same meaning as the self-grasping of phenomena. The distinction is that the mind that grasps objects and subjects as inherently true without relying on scriptures, reasoning, etc., is like the innate one, and the two types of self-grasping of phenomena that impute the mind that grasps objects and subjects as true through investigation and analysis, using scripture-like reasoning as a reason, are like the imputed one. The second is like the cognitive obscuration conceptualizations that manifestly cling to the phenomena of objects and subjects as merely imputed. Among them, there are two types: gross and very subtle. The first is both the clinging to characteristics and the conceptualization of clinging to the mixing of sound and meaning, and exists up to the seventh ground. The second is the clinging that clings to objects as merely imputed, which is subtle and very subtle, and exists up to the post-attainment of the tenth ground. In the second, there are three types of clinging to the base, path, and result as characteristics. In the first, there are two types of clinging to the nature of the base and clinging to the base of phenomena.
