And, with words of no desire, he realized the nature of the Thus-gone One. Just by that, the Thus-gone One did not abandon diligence either. After that, with the words of the irreversible wheel of Dharma, the various nature causes of the three completely pure words, he placed those sentient beings in the realm of the Thus-gone One. Entering and realizing the Dharma-nature of the Thus-gone One is called the supreme place of merit. So it is said. Fifth, it is represented by continuously circling from the fourth day of the eleventh month of the Water Tiger year (1902) to the eighty-year-old Fire Pig year (1947). Fourth, examining the manner of turning the wheel of Dharma, examining the meaning of provisional and definitive, and examining the classification of the Dharma aggregates, there are three. First, as it is said: Although speaking one word, it is understood separately as many. Thus, although not necessarily limited to one aspect, considering the common beings to be tamed, the three wheels of Dharma were turned in sequence. Regarding these three, the beings to be tamed for whom they were turned, the places where they were turned, and the necessity for whom they were turned, there are many differences. Thus, it is also said in the Lankavatara Sutra: Just as a doctor gives medicine to a sick person, so the Buddha teaches the Dharma to sentient beings according to how much they can bear. So it is said. Second, the first is mainly provisional meaning, because it is a sutra that mainly explains the conventional truth as the subject matter. The middle is mainly definitive meaning, because it is the Prajnaparamita Sutra. The last is uncertain, because there are various sutras of common vehicle and uncommon Mahayana. Third, it is divided into four: essence, division, quantity, and basis. First, it is the collection of many scriptural Dharma teachings that extensively explain the Dharma of realization as the subject matter. Second, according to the Mahayana view, for the equal proportion of desire, hatred, and ignorance, the three poisons, the number of Dharma aggregates corresponds to the twenty-one thousand antidotes, which is eighty-four thousand. According to the Hinayana view, it is considered that there are eighty thousand Dharma aggregates. Third, some say that in the treatise composed by Shariputra, the measure is that there are six thousand shlokas of Dharma aggregates. Some say that each category of aggregates, elements, sources, or dependent origination, etc.

It is considered a collection of speech that fully demonstrates. According to Vasubandhu, it is considered a collection of speech that fully demonstrates the antidotes that serve to abandon various afflictions such as attachment. Because it is said that the antidotes to the eighty-four thousand afflictions correspond to the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma. As stated in the Abhidharmakosha: Some say that scriptures have their measure, aggregates, etc., are individual words. To counteract various actions, it is said that there are corresponding aggregates of Dharma. The fourth view is that Sautrantikas and others consider it to be included in the form aggregate because they consider it to be expressive words. The Vaibhashikas consider it to be included in the aggregate of formations because they consider it to be formations that do not have a common name. As it is said: The eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma, whatever the Victorious One has spoken, if they are words or names, are included in form and formations. The meaning of the words is: The venerable Maitreya-natha is worthy of praise as the omniscient one. Because he is a wise person who elucidates the qualities of omniscience through the three aspects of the basis, the individual; the means, omniscience; and the result, the activity of turning the wheel of Dharma. Subhuti, what is the path of the Hearers that Bodhisattvas practice? In the following, it is divided into two aspects. First, regarding the analysis of the extremes, it includes: identifying the three paths of knowledge; the manner in which Hearers and Solitary Realizers complete their abandonment and realization; the standard for completing the three aspects of completion, maturation, and purification; identifying the correct extreme; and the standard for realizing it. The first aspect will be explained in the second part. The second part includes: based on the two situations of having preceded the inferior path and not having preceded the inferior path. The first situation is: even from the accumulation path of the Great Vehicle, it is possible to complete the types of abandonment and realization of Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Because the practitioner on the accumulation path of the Great Vehicle who has previously realized the Arhatship of the Hearers has abandoned the afflictive obscurations and has reached the ultimate realization of selflessness of the person. The second situation is: the seeing path of the Great Vehicle is completed from the moment of the forbearance of the Dharma of suffering. Because the Bodhisattva who abides in the forbearance of the Dharma of suffering and the Arhat of the Lesser Vehicle have both abandoned the afflictive obscurations and have reached the ultimate realization of selflessness of the person. The sutra says: Whatever wisdom and abandonment of Hearers and Solitary Realizers exist, Bodhisattvas, great beings, possess the Dharma of non-arising.
