Do. That is to say, those subtle anusayas are again divided into five types, namely sarvatraga-samyojana, etc., bandhana, subtle anusaya, upaklesha, and paryavasthana. Secondly, there are four: sarvatraga-samyojana, bandhana, upadana, and paryavasthana. The first is divided into two: real and incidental. The first is: Because the essence and holding as supreme are the same, the two views are other sarvatraga-samyojanas. Because both are also the same, they are the freedom of non-virtue. From jealousy and stinginess, they are separately said to be two sarvatraga-samyojanas. This is to say, the view of holding views as supreme and the two views of holding moral discipline and asceticism as supreme. For the sarvatraga-samyojana of views, there is a reason to say that it is the sarvatraga-samyojana of holding others as supreme, because those two are the same as the sarvatraga-samyojana of views and the eight essences, and the way those two hold as supreme is also the same, so it is said that way. The reason why jealousy and stinginess, etc., are separately said to be two sarvatraga-samyojanas is that those two are one, non-virtuous, and independent. The second incidental, the five conforming parts of the lowest are explained, the three sarvatraga-samyojanas are explained, and the five conforming parts of the highest are explained. The first is: There are five types that are the same as the lowest part, the two do not deviate from desire, and the three can send back. This is to say, there are five types that are the same as the lowest part of sarvatraga-samyojana, because there are desire for desire, harmful thoughts, destructive views, moral discipline, holding as supreme, and doubt. There are five functions of the conforming parts of the lowest, the first two make the lowest realm not deviate from desire, and the last three can send back even if they are born in the upper realm. The second is: Because they are gathered by the door and the root, there are three. Not wanting to go and the wrong path, doubting the path is the same. It is an obstacle to the path of liberation, so three are explained. This is to say, the constant entrant has abandoned the three lowest sarvatraga-samyojanas, there is a reason for this, because moral discipline, holding asceticism as supreme, and doubt, the three gather the door of afflictions, and gather the actions, so it is said that way. It is also the one above, it is the master of the obstacle to the path of liberation.

It is because of certainty about these three. It is to explain the three kinds of pervasive bondage. That is, because wrong views make people unwilling to go to liberation, holding asceticism as the supreme leads to wrong paths, and because so many doubts cause doubt about the path to liberation. The third is: The five that correspond to the upper part, born from the form realm and the formless realm, the two desires, excitement, pride, and ignorance. It means that there are five pervasive bondages that correspond to the upper part, that is, the two desires born from the form realm and the formless realm, as well as excitement, pride, and ignorance, that is, ignorance. The second is to explain the bondage: Because of feeling, there are three bondages. It means that there are three bondages, that is, the bondage of desire arising from feeling pleasure, the bondage of hatred arising from feeling pain, and the bondage of ignorance arising from feeling equanimity. The third is the near afflictions: Other than afflictions, those with afflictions, mental formations called aggregates, they are also near afflictions, they are not called afflictions. It means that apart from the root afflictions, those called mental formations of aggregates with afflictions are also near afflictions, because which afflictions? Because they are not called root afflictions. The fourth is to explain the defilements, explaining the substance and, the six stains caused by afflictions. Characteristics and three. First, divided into, two kinds of causes. First, divided into, from the way the treatises explain in detail, and, the common view of the Vaibhashika school. The first is: Shamelessness and lack of shame, jealousy, stinginess, excitement, regret, drowsiness, and sleep, are the eight kinds of defilements. It means that there are eight kinds of defilements, that is, shamelessness, lack of shame, jealousy, stinginess, excitement, regret, drowsiness, and sleep. The second is: Anger and concealment. It means that on top of what was previously mentioned, there are also anger and concealment. The second is: From desire, shamelessness, excitement, and stinginess arise, concealment and strife from ignorance, drowsiness and sleep and lack of shame, from doubt arise regret, anger, and jealousy.
