That is to say: All those with afflictions are frivolous speech. Others are, other afflictions from that. Like flattering songs and dramas, and bad treatises. That is to say, there are many kinds of frivolous speech, because all the words spoken by those with afflicted minds are frivolous speech. Other schools consider that, in addition to false speech, afflicted speech is also considered frivolous speech, such as flattering for the sake of wrong livelihood, singing out of desire, and expounding bad treatises of drama. The third is, greed, malice, and wrong view. The first is, greed is, with wrong thoughts, being attached to the wealth of others. This is to say, the thought of being attached to the wealth of others with a perverted mind. The second is, malice is hating sentient beings. This is to say, hating other sentient beings out of anger. The third is, the actual and the incidental. The first is, thinking that there is no virtue or non-virtue, this is wrong view. Because it is the afflicted wisdom that clings to karma and its results in a perverted way. There is the wrong view of superimposition, because it is the view that the world and beings are created by Brahma and Ishvara. The reason why the three mental actions are called paths is because they can throw beings into the lower realms. The seven of body and speech are not only actions, but also the nature of behavior. The second is, thinking that there is nothing (karma and its results) will cut off the root, the (roots of virtue) that belong to desire and are obtained after birth. Because of slandering cause and effect, all (wrong views) will gradually, in humans, be cut off (roots of virtue) by men and women. This view and conduct are not possessed. The boundary is doubt, because there is (wrong) view, it is not this (wrong view) that commits the five heinous crimes. That is to say, thinking that there is no karma and its results will cut off the roots of virtue, because it is nihilistic view. Because of the view of slandering the cause and effect of karma, it will cut off the roots of virtue that belong to desire and are obtained after birth. All wrong views will cut off the roots of virtue, because gradually, small, medium, and large (wrong views) will also cut off small, medium, and large roots of virtue. The roots of virtue will not be cut off in the lower realms, because they must be cut off in humans. Neither hermaphrodites nor prostitutes will cut off (roots of virtue), because men
