There are two ways to obtain the ground. The first is: The meditation born from meditation is obtained by the ground itself, and the stainless is obtained by the noble one. It means that the discipline of meditation is obtained by the meditation itself being born in the six grounds, and the noble stainless one being born in the six grounds is also obtained by this. The second is divided into general instructions and specific explanations. The first is: Individual liberation, by the actions of others, etc. It means that the discipline called individual liberation is obtained by the actions of other people, etc., because it is obtained by relying on current rituals and previous rituals, etc. The second is divided into six aspects: time, near dwelling, layperson, the object of refuge of large and small, and the examination of the differences in learning. The first is: For as long as life lasts and in the day and night, the discipline should be properly received. There is no discipline that is not for a day and night. It is said that there is no such reception. It means that the method of receiving the seven assemblies of individual liberation, the former ones are until the end of life, and the discipline of near dwelling should be properly received with one day and night. There is no discipline that is not for one day and night, because it is said that there is no such reception. The second is divided into three aspects: the way of receiving, the precepts, and the examination of the receiver. The first is: Sitting lowly, repeating what is said, not decorating, or until the next morning, one who is complete with the limbs of near dwelling, should receive from another in the morning. It means that the discipline of near dwelling has four differences in the way of receiving: the difference in behavior is sitting lowly as instructed by the teacher, not newly decorating; the difference in the way of receiving is repeating what others say; the difference in time is from dawn to sunrise; the difference in limbs is that the eight limbs of near dwelling are complete, and it is necessary to receive from another who has the discipline on the next day. The second is: The limb of discipline is equipped with caution, the limb of asceticism, etc., one root, like that, three in order, therefore, loss of mindfulness arises arrogance. It means that abandoning the four roots is the limb of discipline, abandoning one intoxicant is the limb of caution, abandoning the three of dance, etc., is the limb of asceticism. If these limbs are not protected, they will become faults, because drinking alcohol will cause loss of mindfulness.

Ra. If one indulges in high and magnificent beds and musical performances, it will cause pride to arise in the mind. The third is: Others also have the upasatha vow, But those who have not taken refuge do not. This means that the upasatha vow is not only for lay practitioners, but other householders can also generate the vows of the upasatha. However, those who have not taken refuge in the Three Jewels do not have it, because it must be promised through generating the mind of taking refuge. The third, the characteristic of a lay practitioner is: Having vowed to be a lay practitioner, The vows are firm like a bhikshu. If all are bound by vows, Then how about practicing one part, etc.? Protecting that is also called protecting. This means that merely taking refuge does not obtain the vows of a lay practitioner, but the vows of a lay practitioner are obtained by vowing to be a lay practitioner. However, it is necessary to teach the precepts, because it is for the sake of knowing what to adopt and abandon, just like explaining the vows of a bhikshu. If all lay practitioners are bound by vows, then how can one explain the lay practitioners who practice one part and mostly practice, etc.? There is no such fault, because after merely vowing to be a lay practitioner, one protects those things that should be abandoned later, so it is said that one practices one part, etc. The fourth is: Small, etc., the mind is as it is. This means that there are three types of vows: small, medium, and large, just as the intention to take the vows has three types of minds: small, medium, and large, so the vows arise. The fifth is: Whoever takes refuge in the three, The Dharma that makes Buddhas and Sangha, Non-learners and both, Go for refuge to Nirvana. This means that the objects of refuge for some people who take refuge in the Three Jewels are: the Dharma that makes Buddhas, which is the non-learning Dharma; the Dharma that makes the Sangha, which is both learning and non-learning; and the Dharma that makes the Dharma, which is to go for refuge to Nirvana. The physical body is contaminated, so although it is not the Buddha Jewel, it is considered to be the Buddha, because the commentary says: The Dharma that makes Buddhas, it is said that the basis is not prohibited from being the Buddha himself, so it will not become a criticism.
