That person was strong, and the paths of excretion and the sexual organs of men and women were clearly visible. To conceal these parts, people used cotton and wool woven into lower skirts and clothes. At that time, they loved each other and had the desire to embrace. They joined the two sexual organs and engaged in sexual activity, thus there were sentient beings, born from the womb. When engaging in sexual activity in this way, others developed unpleasant feelings, throwing mud and stones and speaking ill of them, thus giving rise to feelings of shame. People used wood and stones to make partitions and build small houses, hence the name "House of Shame." At that time, to shield from the rain, they covered it with thatch from above, and the earliest houses were thatched huts. After that, they harvested as much rice as needed, but a lazy person stored the share he should have received tomorrow tonight, and everyone followed suit. Before that, it was the first kalpa, naturally practicing the ten virtues, it was the age of perfection. After that, four castes appeared in this Jambudvipa. Stealing good or bad rice fields is not a good behavior, judging and punishing, exporting rice outwards, and enticing it inwards, etc., these are all done by bad people, good people, living quietly is reasonable, let us all gather together and elect a leader, after discussing this, from these people, a person with good character and nature, and outstanding appearance was elected as king, thus there appeared a king respected by the people. Some scriptures say that when the rice fields were about to run out, they were distributed separately, and a person with a good nature was the distributor, and everyone was satisfied with the reduction of his own share, saying that you are suitable to be our king, so they collected from their respective rice ears and elected him. After that, some people turned their minds outward from their families and attached great importance to cleanliness, these people were called Brahmins, and their descendants were called Brahmin castes. Those who live at home and mainly worship their parents because of abundant resources are called Vaishya castes, and their descendants are called Vaishya castes. Those who do not support their fathers.

Those who do not regard mothers as mothers, do not regard elders of their lineage as elders, and do not respect them. Those who primarily engage in evil deeds as outcasts, such as stealing and adultery, are degraded as commoners or outcastes. The paths to higher realms have been explained. The second is the path to the lower realms. That is, based on the previous support of higher realms, those who have accumulated karma primarily through hatred, among them, accumulate the karma that will become the lord of hells. Initially, one will be born as the King Yama in the hell realm. After that, the guardians of sentient beings in hell will appear disguised in emanated forms. Dogs, birds, copper, boiling water, fire, weapons, and so on will also appear as emanations. Similarly, other hells will also appear. The pretas, who have previously accumulated karma through desire that will cause them to experience the suffering of pretas, will also experience suffering due to external obscurations, internal obscurations, obscurations of shared karma, and obscurations of individual burdens. Those who have previously accumulated karma through ignorance that will cause them to experience the suffering of animals in every way, will appear in the oceans, between continents, and in the realms of gods and humans, through various forms of mutual consumption, exploitation, and harm. Here, to refute a related argument: Those who are very dull-witted and have little learning are extremely foolish to say that there are no such realms or classes. What does "non-existent" mean? If one considers "actually non-existent" to mean "non-existent in the ultimate sense," then this present appearance is also equally non-existent. Like a dream in conventional terms, those also exist as they are described, according to their own causes and conditions. That is because the actor has nothing other than their own karma, so it is unreasonable to say that they do not exist. If these realms and classes do not actually exist, then how can we interpret the words in the great Mahayana scriptures, where the Blessed One's two soles of his feet emanate sixty billion rays of light, appearing in the realms of sentient beings in hell, pretas, and animals, and pacifying their respective sufferings? Some also say that Buddhas only appear when the lifespan is between eighty thousand and one hundred years.
