Furthermore, as mentioned before, (the intermediate state being) stays for seven weeks, with a minor death every seven days. The Vaibhashika masters believe that (the intermediate state being) stays for a short time because they are looking for the place of karma. This is their view. Third, regarding how to enter the place of birth, there are two types: actual and the way of entering the place of birth. The first is: Because the mind is reversed, joyfully goes to the place of birth, others are attached to the smell of the place, hell is a curled body. One enters knowingly, the other abides, and the other arises, and the other is completely ignorant, and the egg-born is always like this. It means that the womb-born and egg-born, because the mind is reversed, go to the place of rebirth with a playful and joyful mind. Others, moisture-born are attached to the smell, and transformation-born are attached to the place. If someone wants to know how to be attached to the place, it is because when the intermediate state of the cold hell is formed, due to the pain of touching the extremely hot, wanting to find a cold place, then sees the place of the cold hell and is attached to it. The same is true for hot hells. Other beings also enter in the way of being attached to their respective places. In addition, when the intermediate state of hell is formed, the body will curl up. Those who uphold pure precepts and asceticism, and show respect to upright immortals, will only fall into hell. The gods go upwards as if rising from their seats, while humans, animals, and hungry ghosts walk directly. Regarding color, it was said earlier that for the intermediate state being who commits non-virtuous deeds, it appears as black cloth or the darkness of night. For those who do good deeds, it appears as white cloth or a moonlit night. It is also said in the Sutra of Transference that the intermediate state being of hell is like a tree stump burned by fire, hungry ghosts are like water, animals are like smoke, humans and desire realm gods are like gold, and form realm gods are like white cloth. The above. The second is: There are three ways to enter the womb, the wheel-turning king and the self-born, karma or wisdom or both, know because of the vastness.

In sequence. That is to say, are all entries into the womb determined by inverted wisdom? Not necessarily. How so? There are three ways to enter the womb without inversion: the wheel-turning king, the solitary buddha, and the complete and perfect buddha. These are also in order. First, the wheel-turning monarch enters knowingly, but does not know the dwelling and the arising, because he possesses only vast merit. Second, the solitary buddha dwells knowingly, but does not know the arising, because he possesses only a vast accumulation of wisdom. Third, the complete and perfect buddha arises knowingly, because he possesses vast accumulations of both. Other than these, those born from the womb are confused about all three: arising, entering, and dwelling. Egg-born beings are always confused, because they are beings of two births. Second, regarding the nature of dependent origination of birth, there are two analyses: the actual and the incidental analysis of the four existences. First, it briefly explains the way of entering samsara, elaborately explains the established samsara, and summarizes the way of illustrating the three afflictions with examples. First, there are two parts: the actual way of entering samsara and the explanation that the stream of existence is without beginning. First: Only aggregates without self, accumulated by afflictions and karma, if the stream of the intermediate state continues, like a lamp, it goes into the womb. That is to say, someone might ask: If the connection continues from the previous life to this life, and from this life to the next, then is the self that connects permanent? It is not permanent, because it is without self, it is only imputed on the aggregates. However, the connection is reasonable, because in the previous life, driven by afflictions, one accumulated contaminated karma, from which arises the stream of mind of the intermediate state. From the intermediate state arises the stream of mind of the birth state, therefore, just as one lamp is passed to another, it goes to the four places of birth, such as the womb. Second: As it is thrown, the sequence continues, after birth, by the power of karma and afflictions, it goes to other worlds. That is to say, the wheel of existence has no beginning and no end, previously driven by ignorance, accumulating contaminated karma, so again and again in the next life, as it is thrown, the previous life
