For example, (suffering dharma forbearance) acts as the cause from suffering dharma knowledge to the knowledge of cessation and non-arising. Second, (equality cause and conformity cause) are only the causes of what arises from application. As the scripture says: 'Arising from hearing, thinking, and so on.' This means that for the worldly path arising from application, the equality cause and equality, the superior cause and equality, these two causes are the only ones. For example, (the path) arising from hearing and thinking, and the (path) arising from meditation included in etc., are only the causes of equality and superiority, not inferior ones. Fourth, the corresponding cause is: 'The corresponding cause is mind and so on, and those with the same mental support.' This means that for the same mind and mental factors that rely on the same uncommon dominant condition, they are mutually corresponding causes. Fifth, the pervasive cause is: 'The so-called pervasive is affliction, the five pervasive of each ground.' This means that the cause that produces a result similar to itself is established as the pervasive cause. That is, it needs to be on the same ground as oneself,

What are the dharmas of the ground? They are all conditioned dharmas and cessation through individual examination. So, does the truth of cessation have a cause? For unconditioned phenomena, these six causes do not exist. Among them, the first cause does not exist because it cannot produce a result. The second and fourth causes do not exist because they are not causally related to each other. The third and fifth causes do not exist because it does not have a similar cause. The sixth cause does not exist because it does not have any non-virtuous or contaminated virtuous qualities as its cause. The second is: the result of maturation is the last, the result of the agent is the first, the result of similar cause, equal share, and all-pervading, the result of the agent is of the two. That is to say, the result of maturation is the result of the last maturation cause among the six causes. The result of the agent is the result of the first acting cause. The result of similar cause is the result of equal share and all-pervading. The result of the agent is the result of the two causes of co-emergent and corresponding. The third is: maturation is an unspecified dharma, what sentient beings say is later produced, the similar cause is the same as the cause, separation is what is exhausted by wisdom, by the power of what is born, the result is born from the action of the agent, not pre-existing, conditioned is, only the agent result of conditioned. That is to say, the result of maturation is an obscured and unspecified dharma. It is considered to be included in the mind stream. The cause is later produced, and the result is later produced from the cause, because it is a result that is later produced from any of the non-virtuous and contaminated virtuous qualities. The result of similar cause is the result that is born similar to the cause. The result of separation is the cessation obtained by the power of completely abandoning what one should abandon with the wisdom of the uninterrupted path. The result of the agent is the result that is naturally born from the power of whatever cause is born. For selective cessation, add "by the power of what is obtained". The result is not the prior existence of the cause, but the conditioned phenomenon that is produced simultaneously, is the agent result of only conditioned phenomena. As the prince (Vimalamitra) said.

There is no cause outside of the result. Thus it is said. Third, regarding the common dharma of both cause and effect, the difference between holding and producing the result, and how the result arises from which cause. First: The five hold the result in the present, the two greatly produce, those of the present and the past, one will produce from the past. Thus it is said. Generally speaking, the ability of a cause to generate a result is holding, and actually producing is producing. Therefore, the five causes other than the agent cause are holding the present result, because they have the ability to generate the result. The two corresponding causes greatly produce the present result, because they produce together with the result itself. The two equipotent and all-accompanying causes are only the present result and the past result, if the result is produced in the second moment without interruption by another moment, it is present, and if it is produced with interruption, it produces its own result, but does not produce a future result. The ripening cause only produces the result from the past, because there is no simultaneous or immediate production of the result. Second: Afflicted ones and those born from ripening, the remainder and the first noble stage in order. Ripening, all-accompanying, those two and, except for equipotent, born from the remainder. Mind and what arises from mind, except for corresponding, the others are like that. Thus it is said. Generally speaking, that result is divided into those included by mind and mental factors, and those not included. The first has four, namely afflicted ones and those born from ripening, and the remainder of those two, unobscured and unspecified, and the remainder of the first moment of the uncontaminated, that is, the virtues from the second moment onwards, and the virtue of the first moment of the uncontaminated, there are four in total. Those also in order are, the result of affliction, arises from the five causes other than the ripening cause, it does not arise from that, because the result of ripening is said to be unobscured and unspecified, because it is an afflicted one. The result of ripening arises from the five causes other than the all-accompanying cause, it does not arise from that, because all-accompanying is said to be an afflicted one, because it is unobscured and unspecified.
