Therefore, since the path of non-outflow is not attained, those who abide in the path of seeing possess one to five kinds of omniscience. That is, one knowledge of the Dharma of suffering and origin; two at the time of subsequent knowledge; three at the time of the knowledge of the Dharma of cessation; four at the time of subsequent knowledge; and five at the time of the knowledge of the Dharma of the path. Therefore, those who abide in the path of meditation possess six kinds of omniscience, or one, or two. That is, abiding in the subsequent knowledge of the path, there are six at the time of detachment from desire in the desire realm. When the Arhat is attained, there is one omniscience of the exhaustion of all outflows. At the time of detachment from desire in the form realm, there are two omniscience of abandoning the lower fetters and the higher fetters. When the non-returner is attained, there is the omniscience of abandoning the last five lower fetters, and at the time of the Arhat, there is the omniscience of the exhaustion of all outflows, which is reasonable to combine. Because when one is detached from desire from the upper realms, and when one newly attains the fruit of the ascetic conduct, those abandonments are combined and established. The fifth is: Some abandon one and gain two, abandon two and gain one, abandon five and gain one, abandon one and gain six, abandon six and gain one, not abandon five and gain five. That is to say, among those fruit omniscience, some abandon one fruit omniscience and possess two, that is, when one regresses from the fruit of Arhat to the fruit of non-returner, abandoning the fruit of the exhaustion of all outflows, and possessing the two fruits of abandoning the cultivations to be abandoned of the desire and form realms. Abandoning two and possessing one, that is, when one enters the Arhat position, attaining the realization of the fruit position, abandoning the two fruits of abandoning the cultivations to be abandoned of the desire and form realms, and possessing one fruit of the exhaustion of all outflows. Abandoning five and possessing one, that is, when the non-returner abiding in the forbearance of the subsequent knowledge of the path attains the realization of that subsequent knowledge, abandoning the three fruits of abandoning the views to be abandoned included in the desire realm, and the two fruits of abandoning the views to be abandoned included in the upper realms, a total of five, and possessing one fruit omniscience of abandoning the views to be abandoned of the path seen included in the upper realms. Abandoning one and possessing six, that is, because one has not detached from desire in the form realm, when one regresses from the fruit of non-returner to the fruit of once-returner, abandoning the fruit of abandoning the cultivations to be abandoned of the desire realm, and possessing the six fruits of abandoning the views to be abandoned. Abandoning six and possessing one, that is...

Having entered, when one attains the realization of their own fruition, they relinquish the six complete knowledges of the fruition of abandoning what is to be abandoned by seeing, and possess one complete knowledge of the fruition of abandoning what is to be abandoned by meditation in the desire realm. Because there is no attainment of five. From the "Garland of Jewels," a commentary on the Abhidharmakosha, this is called "Detailed Teaching," which is the fifth place. The sixth place, the commentary on the teaching of the path and the individual. Third, establishing the truth of cessation and path to be attained, there are three: the classification of the path, the classification of the individual, and the explanation of other distinctions of the path. First, there are the nature of the path, its object, and the method of meditation. The first is: "From seeing and meditating on the truth, it is said that afflictions are abandoned. The path of meditation is of two kinds, that which is called seeing is without defilements." That is to say, by directly seeing the truth, one abandons what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing, and by meditating, one abandons the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of meditation. So, what are the path of seeing and the path of meditation like? The path of meditation is of two kinds, with and without defilements, which can be expressed by words, because there are two kinds, worldly and transcendental. The path called "seeing" is only without defilements, because it is the antidote to the three realms. Second, regarding the object of the path, there are two: explaining the four truths and explaining the two truths. The first is: "The truths are explained as four, suffering and its origin likewise, cessation and path, thus, how do they manifest in order? Desirable, undesirable, and other defiled two, because suffering itself has three, all that is appropriate is suffering." That is to say, there are four truths, because the truths of cessation and path, and the truths of suffering and origin have been mentioned above. There is a reason for showing the order of suffering, origin, and likewise cessation and path, because it is to show the order in which these truths manifest. All that is defiled is included in the truth of suffering, because it possesses and is included in the three natures of the suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the suffering of conditioned existence. There is a reason for such inclusion, because the feeling of desirable pleasure is included in the suffering of change, and the un-
