However, if we examine the obvious phenomenon of solar and lunar eclipses, then the vow to always travel along the path of equal day and night will be broken. Why? Because when the sun and moon reach the limit of their north-south movement, it is impossible for solar or lunar eclipses to occur at noon and midnight, because Rahu does not travel inside or outside the path of equal day and night. At noon and midnight when the movement reaches its limit, it is impossible for the sun and moon to travel along the path of equal day and night. Moreover, the Great Commentary says: "Here, in the wheel of constellations, all planets have northward and southward movements. For example, the sun has the power to enjoy the stars and the power to enjoy the six houses." Therefore, since it is said that all planets have two kinds of movements, Rahu should also have them. Therefore, As mentioned earlier, after refuting the root tantra and the calculations of the heretics, in this tantra and its commentary, it is only said that Rahu moves to the right around the constellation at its own speed, and nothing is said about its movement. Second, specifically, there are two ways in which the sun's sphere moves: generally speaking of categories and specifically speaking of structures. The first has two types: teaching and discussion. The first is: "There are two ways of moving: constellations and those with constellations." And so on, is a verse. The second has two types, the first of which is the view that both constellations and those with constellations are without error, which is the view of stacking helmets. That is, some heretics say: Just as it is obvious that the constellations do not move north and south, the sun, moon, five planets, Rahu, etc., which have constellations, also do not move north and south, but like a cow pulling a pillar to turn a threshing floor, the eight planets slowly rotate closer to Mount Meru, so they do not move or err, but exist stacked from top to bottom. This is unreasonable, because it would lead to the impossibility of planets meeting, which contradicts the struggle of planets; and because planets have north-south movement and must appear and disappear from the sun; and sometimes we also see two slow planets appearing from the front and back of the sun, so it contradicts the obvious facts. The second also has two types: teaching and discussion. The first is: Believing that there are errors

Etc. The detailed explanation is divided into four types. The first is the external generation, and the second is the upper generation. Both of these believe that the four continents all revolve simultaneously through the four seasons, that is, the movement of winter and summer and the balance of autumn and spring. Although they all believe that the four seasons revolve simultaneously, the way they revolve is different. For example, the great Vinaya holder Great Red and others of the external generation school say that when all four continents simultaneously reach the end of their northward journey, from that day on, they gradually expand, and when they reach the center, all four continents simultaneously enter the autumnal equinox. After that, they continue to expand outward, and when they reach the outer edge, all four simultaneously reach the end of their southward journey, which is the winter solstice. Again, from that day on, they gradually shrink, and when they reach the center, they enter the vernal equinox, and continue to shrink, and when they reach the inner edge, they reach the end of their northward journey, which is the summer solstice. The upper generation school, on the other hand, believes that when this continent reaches the end of its southward journey, it is true that all continents reach the end of their southward journey. However, instead of gradually expanding after that day, they gradually rise higher and higher, and when they reach the central position, all continents enter the vernal equinox. When they rise to the apex, all continents reach the end of their northward journey, and then gradually descend, and when they reach the center, they enter the autumnal equinox, and so on. The third type is the Narthangpa school and others who hold the tradition of the Iron Chain Mother, who say that the Great Peacock Sutra says, "It moves like a wheel of weapons." According to this scripture, when two continents are in summer, the other two continents are in winter, and the two equinoxes are also the same. For example, the night of the northernmost point of this southern continent is also the night of the northernmost point of the north, because the place to reach is very far away, so the part sandwiched between Mount Sumeru is very long in the east-west direction, like the tops are connected, so both the east and west sides reach the end of their southward journey. They believe that the summer solstice in the north and south and the winter solstice in the east and west are on the same day. On the day after that, both northward journeys gradually unfold, becoming round, and on that very day, two continents enter the autumnal equinox and two continents enter the vernal equinox. After that, they continue to unfold, and when the north and south become very long and the east and west become very short, the east and west sides and the north and south sides will be reversed. All three of these views are unreasonable, because they contradict both scripture and reason.
