It resides in any of the three fish signs. If added and discarded, the outer feet in non-sequential order reside in any of the three: Aries, Taurus, Gemini. If half a cycle is not discarded, the feet are used sequentially, residing in any of the six: Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius. Thus, if the natal house is studied and more than half a cycle remains, then whatever the remainder is after discarding is the pure foot position in this case. Then, the remaining star position that appears in the pure foot position is multiplied by space (ākāśa) and taste (rasa), i.e., sixty, and converted into hours. By mixing whatever is present in the position of the hours below, all the objects to be divided are made into a collection of hours. Dividing that by arrow (bāṇa), gain (iṣu), and moon (candra), i.e., one hundred and thirty-five, is because each house has one hundred and thirty-five hours. It is divided by that because when the foot position reaches one hundred and thirty-five hours, the sun moves one slow foot. Thus, the quotient obtained by dividing by one hundred and thirty-five is the number of houses that have passed counting from the boundary of the foot, so it should be used to determine the sun's foot. The foot to be determined is: time (kāla), i.e., six, sea (samudra), i.e., four, and moon (candra), i.e., one, these three stacked positions are the sequential front foot. Draw a horizontal line at the boundary of the foot, and below it for the outer foot, write one, four, six in reverse order from the front foot. Thus, three positions each appear for the front and back feet, because the sun's foot has the distinction of possessing the three qualities of dust, darkness, and strength. The reason for writing the foot diagram, time, sea, etc., is to understand the manner of increase and decrease in the enjoyment of the sun's slow foot. By the number of hours that match the foot diagram, wealth gradually increases in the front and back feet in a slow process, one loss is compensated by the other, so the front foot is used twice and the back foot is used twice, for a total of four times, because the stars are moving. A detailed explanation of these reasons can be found in chapter twenty-one by examining the ritual of the common power of expanding tables. Thus, the way to determine the foot with wealth is that if it is not obtained, because the foot has not passed, the sign of emptiness is a dot, and when it is obtained, the wealth of the foot is empty, i.e., completely pure, so a dot is written at the sum of the feet. Similarly, form (rūpa), i.e., one.

If you get the sixth foot that has been used, and the sixth that has not been used for the arrow, which is five, it should be written, just like getting two and water, etc., the direction of summing up what has been used and not used is ten, and the fire, which is three, is obtained, and the fierce, which is eleven, which is the sum of all that has not been used, should be added up. The reason is that the front foot is what has been used, and the back foot is what should be used, so it must be added up. After that, in order to check the correct running time from the foot that is being eaten, how much is the remainder divided by one hundred and thirty-five, that is, the foot holding until the sun reaches that foot that is running and the date that is calculated ends. The previous foot holding converts those positions of the remainder, which is the foot that is running converts, and if it is not completed, because there is no past foot, the first front foot is used, and it is used to convert. Then roll up on each wheel, and the gain from dividing the time arrow auspicious month is the number of how much time the correct running time has spent from the foot that is running, so write it under the total number of feet. The remainder is converted with the void sound, added to the minute, and then divided by the arrow auspicious month, and the gain is the second, the front foot adds two hours, and the back foot subtracts the top from the bottom, and then subtracts one, etc., as said in the case of the moon foot, clean up the enjoyment of the foot, what do those do? Those are the enjoyment of the planet half and the sun half, which are added or subtracted below the hour. How to do it? If you discard half a wheel, it is not in order, the northward movement occurs on the diameter of the central Jambudvipa, and at that time, the planet sun half should be given to all parts of the twelve segments of the earth. If you don't discard it again, the order is southward on the diameter, and in all parts of the twelve segments, it should be reduced in the enjoyment of the planet sun half, because it is Ratnasambhava. If you discard it again, the foot is not used in order, so the front foot increases and the back foot decreases, and at that time, giving the enjoyment of the foot is, giving more time when increasing, and giving less when decreasing. If you don't discard it, the foot is in order
