Just like approaching a mother, (approaching the sun) appears to be obscured by one's own shadow. Therefore, even though the moon has no power of its own, it must be considered that it waxes and wanes depending on the grace of the sun. For example, the sun makes the date a kind of grace. Like this, adding the purity of the sun to one's own unique constant enjoyment is called the date-connected lunar star, which is the enjoyment before the end of the date and has a part associated with the rotating stars of both the previous and subsequent days. On top of this, subtracting the enjoyment of the date being calculated, because before dawn of that day, the enjoyment that has been used up is revealed. The remainder is divided by the sixty degrees of the day being calculated, and the remainders are what the moon uses and moves on the star shown on the chart, so it is called the rotating companion lunar star. Even so, if someone says that the power of the time enjoyment of the date and the space enjoyment of the moon are not equal, then for the enjoyment of the moon's own waxing and waning, in terms of both space and time, the time enjoyment of the date, such as the duration of fifty-nine, etc., and the enjoyment passing through space, such as fifty-eight, etc., are roughly equal in power, so there is no defect. The action of the first half can be understood naturally. That is, the part with feet, the date to be calculated is enjoyed, and half of that, each part is the enjoyment of one action. The method of checking is to use the previous date enjoyment, subtract space taste, and what remains is what has passed on the previous day. Add what remains to today's date enjoyment, and the quotient divided by the eyes is the enjoyment of the action of that time. After the previous date enjoyment of the first half is completed, it is used for that duration. After that amount of the latter half is completed, know that the action appears.
