With welcoming arrangements, he arrived at the residence of Dokhar Phuntsok Paljor. The faithful patron minister offered various forms of hospitality for a week. Together with his retinue, he performed the feast wheel in the great mandala of the assembly of all Sugatas for five days, and bestowed the empowerment of Amitayus, the giver of immortality and glory, upon the gathering of nearly eight hundred monks and laypeople in that area. There, many faithful men and women performed prostrations, circumambulations, and prayers to their heart's content, offering all their possessions, including ornaments for their bodies, and making extensive dedications, planting the seeds of liberation in the beings of that region. Before that, Padmasambhava had blessed it with his footprints, and later, Ratna Lingpa opened the door to the profound treasures. In the extraordinary sacred site, the wonderful place of practice, Bumthang, the disciple of the previous master, the great meditator Sherab, invited him with faith and offered abundant hospitality. He bestowed the empowerment of longevity, made offerings, visited sacred sites, and fulfilled the wishes of many who were interested in virtue and sought meaning, with the prophecies of Thangthun. He then proceeded to visit the spontaneously accomplished palace built by Tsewang Drakpa, the heart-son of Ratna Lingpa. He arrived at Dokhar Dzong, displaying white joyful umbrellas. He scattered flowers upon many sutras and shastras. Again, he returned to his residence, Phuntsok Paljor. He presented vast offerings of material goods. With genuine faith, they prayed for his continued guidance. He promised to fulfill their wishes as desired. From there, he gradually proceeded to Takar Gongar. The faithful Norkyong Drakpa established the basis for empowerment. He bestowed the Thangtong longevity empowerment upon the gathering there. Successively, he visited Namdo, Drigu, Draktsa, and other places. He arrived at his own great monastic seat. He held a grand water feast in accordance with the procession of the ocean of the three-fold assembly. The accomplished Chöpel, the incarnation of Chöter Lingpa, bestowed the Yamaraja empowerment and oral transmission upon some of his own monks, and also bestowed the life-force entrustment and liberation rituals of Longevity Tent Pehar and the great Yaksha, as well as the Mingyi of Loktri, upon some interested individuals such as the monks of Smar Lam Despa Dzogchenpa, Lama Sangngak Tenzin, and others.
