A grand charcoal offering was performed. Two of his own monks, Geshe Konchok Samdrub, and the monk Geshe Gephel Namgyal and his wife, from the great unified kingdom of Gyari, the middle-ranking Zhabdrung, who held the lineage of the gods, pleased the assembly of vidyadharas with reverence, and performed the ritual of praying for the permanence of the lotus feet. The Zhabdrung himself and some ministers, this year at the opening of the newly established shop in Do Tsong, blessed the people who came and went. The son of the lord of the land, the king of men, the one who became the eldest son, set out for the Ga Tra area for hot spring therapy. Afterwards, he was invited to the great monastery, and with a grand procession and welcoming party, he was offered abundant wealth and reverence, as well as the nectar of empowerment and instruction. At the end of the year, grand Cham dances and other activities were held, and he did as he pleased, and then returned. The practice offering in April was held as usual, and the venerable lama, the steward of Dokhar, dedicated the merits of the daytime offering, and for some people working at home and abroad, he fulfilled their wishes with empowerment. Afterwards, he traveled by boat from Lumba to Lhasa. As if the victorious palace had moved to a new place, in the magnificent Ganden Khangsar Palace, the Brahma of the land—the king and his son—held the auspicious ceremony of the permanence of the lotus feet, and presented subsequent offerings. The king and queen, and the prince and princess, each according to their own wishes, offered a hundred longevity empowerments and the subsequent blessings of Palden Lhamo, and many sacred Dharma objects, and bestowed abundant offerings such as silk, tea, tin, and two kinds of precious large cloths. The king's honored guest, Lady Mug, untied the priceless pearl headdress, hung it on a silk scarf, and offered it to this lama with devotion. He expanded it with dedications of temporary and long-term good deeds. First and foremost were the stewards Mug Budang and Dokhar Minister Noyon Khoshorche, as well as other attendants who governed the kingdom, the audience documents of that time, the three treasurers, the stewards, the ministers, the accountants, the subordinates, and other officials, great and small, raised from their feet, each with their own power, and the sangha and laity, high and low, universal and individual, sacred.
