Where to go, and how to perform the inner and outer offerings, etc., when asked, it was answered: According to the teachings, one will directly go to the pure land, so there is no need to worry about whether one is liberated from the vows or not, and the cremation arrangements can be made immediately. It can be done by the attendant in charge of funeral affairs, assisted by monks Kunlo and Rabten. Judging from your work arrangements, the preparations can be done secretly for four or five days, and there is no need to be too secretive. Regarding the remains, if all the auspicious connections are complete, it is said that placing the whole body will benefit the well-being of the entire Tibet. However, since some auspicious connections have undergone various changes, there is no difference now whether to place it or not, so it is best to cremate it and clean it up, which has not changed from what was said before. Please ask Khen Rinpoche to perform the cremation at the place where the felt tent is currently set up in Kunsang Phodrang. In order to alleviate the grief of the devotees, place a statue of the same size as the body on the throne of Kunsang Phodrang. Make two smaller statues, one placed on the bed in the bedroom and one placed on the cushion in the protector hall of the private chamber, and in front of it, place the cushion where the young Living Buddha makes torma offerings, facing south, with the head pointing west at the end of the bedroom bed. There is an auspicious connection of father and son not being separated. From then on, invite the young Living Buddha to sit on the cushions in the sutra hall, the initiation hall, the assembly hall, and other places. As for the size of the outer silver stupa, depending on the actual situation, place it according to the previous instructions. And so on, all public affairs were given detailed and thorough instructions. At these times, it seemed that the body had no illness, and there was no need to worry about all the teachings. On the morning of the twenty-seventh, initially sitting drowsily as if asleep, the doctor thought he was sleeping, so he sprinkled some water, and the body suddenly straightened up, looking at the sky with wide eyes, and uttered a strong "ཕཊ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, literal Chinese meaning: pa). From that day on, the pulse at the top of the head could be seen from a distance, throbbing like a jumping fish, which became a phenomenon that everyone could see. On the twenty-eighth, when about one-eighth of the sun remained, it was said that since yesterday, the downward-clearing winds had merged with life and the corpse, circulating upward in the body, initially the mind.

The feeling of discomfort subsided, the mind became clear, and all appearances and awareness flowed comfortably. Its power manifested as emptiness and form, and also as the play of peaceful and wrathful deities. Moreover, now all appearing realms are clear like molten blue liquid, with awareness blended into them, and the realms and wisdom seem indistinguishable. I asked, "How do the actions of the attendants serving at that time appear?" He said, "Like images appearing in a mirror, they appear without obstruction, appearances do not obscure emptiness, and emptiness does not obstruct appearances. In the appearance of the union of interdependent origination, at the very moment of appearance, there is no inherent existence, it is truly wonderful." Then, he took out the bound liberation Six Tantras scripture that he carried on his body, touched each part of his body, received the four empowerments, blessed everyone, and gave it to us. After that, he said, "Most of the monks in our monastery are proficient in the practice of mantras, and it seems that many also understand their teachings. However, those who are adorned with the experience and realization of practice are very few, which is due to a lack of effort and the presence of shortcomings. Therefore, one must gradually train the mind through renunciation, detachment, pure appearances, cause and effect, acceptance and rejection, and so on. Finally, one must be guided in the practice of profound key instructions that are suitable for each individual's mind, including the Two Nyingthigs. From last year, I had intended to establish a brief periodic instruction for some diligent monks, and although it did not succeed, if continued efforts are made, there will be quite a few who receive instruction from me. The prostrations and prayers of the Great Perfection Nyingthig have gradually declined in gatherings later on, so make arrangements for it not to decline but to flourish." From that night on, it seemed that someone was circumambulating the outside of the monastery in a way that could not be traced, and if one listened intently, one could not hear the sounds of musical instruments such as the lute and flute, but when one was not paying attention, clear sounds could be heard. On the night of the twenty-ninth, he spoke repeatedly to his younger brother and nephew who were attending him, and especially at dawn he arrived at the bedroom of Drakthokpa. He said, "Both body and mind are comfortable, and there are no illnesses or anything like that." He also held his younger brother's hand and seemed to give some secret instructions. On the morning of the first day, he got up from the cushion and stood on the prepared footstool, supported by the cook.
