From the age of seventy-eight, his physical strength diminished, and hopes for recovery through prayer faded. From the night of the New Year's Eve, my uncle and I remained by his side, continuously offering prayers. Then, on the morning of the second day, the sky was as clear as lapis lazuli, without even a slight breeze. Five-colored rainbows spread out like a peacock's tail feathers, resembling erected tents and parasols, and hanging banners, filling the sky. Yet, the sun's rays were not obscured, shining brightly, displaying wondrous external signs visible to all. Simultaneously, at the time when the sun was just rising, to encourage those clinging to permanence to embark on the true path, and also to tame beings through the very form of his body, he contemplated thus. Into the wisdom light of the Dharmakaya, the primordially pure, vast expanse, possessing the inconceivable four liberations, he gathered the display of his Rupakaya (form body). In the beginningless, centerless, and endless great bliss of intrinsic nature, in the realm free from all obscurations, he manifested the manner of passing into Nirvana. While the mandala of the Dharmakaya remained perfectly complete and unmoved, spontaneously accomplished bodies, the play of wisdom, the uninterrupted Sambhogakaya (enjoyment body), and the forms of the Nirmanakaya (emanation body) arose. In accordance with the inclinations and capacities of pure and impure beings to be tamed, he manifested accordingly. For a time, it was as if he had promised to go to the realm of the Dakinis. When noble beings who have realized innate great bliss pass to other realms, the Yogini Tantra states: "Blood-drinkers and other Yoginis, holding various flowers in their hands, with various banners and flags, various sounds of musical instruments, and various offerings of song and dance, 'death' is merely a concept, they will be led to the realm of the Dakinis." Thus, Herukas and other heroes and Yoginis welcome with reverence and various offerings, and invite to the realm of the Dakinis. The meaning of "Dakini realm" is that which accords with the wisdom Dharmakaya, indivisible from clear light bliss and emptiness, that is called the sky, and to practice there means to attain it. The Guhyasamaja Highest Yoga Tantra states: "Ḍākinī is the one who goes in the sky."

Manifestly observed from the essence. Accomplished in conduct throughout the sky. Widely renowned as the Dakini. Thus it is said. Like that, for those who have already attained the Siddhi of sky-faring, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas make offerings three times a day. In the "Manjushri Oral Instructions," it is said: Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and, deities of knowledge and wrathful ones, etc., with offerings such as flowers. One day, at the first light of dawn, half at the time of noon, at the twilight juncture, from the sky, having made offerings and praises, one will go to one's own pure land. Thus it is said. Moreover, according to the vision of the eighth day of the waxing moon of the Wood Rabbit year (Tibetan calendar) of the Sun Returning, from here to the Buddha-field called Adorned with Lotuses, manifesting the act of attaining enlightenment as the Tathagata named Boundless Play. Also, according to the vision of the night of the empty sky of the King Month (Tibetan calendar) of the Intoxicated Year, promising to go to the Copper-Colored Mountain in the presence of the Dakinis who protect the field. It seems that in that pure land, in the form of the wisdom body of Vidyadhara, one goes as the leader of the Dakini assembly. Furthermore, from the treasure prophecy, in the land of Oddiyana, in the place of Jaga, equally enjoying all kinds of desirable qualities and all happiness and suffering, accomplishing the benefit with the utterly unelaborate conduct of Samantabhadra, manifesting in the form of a Siddha. And also, in this land of Tibet, manifesting as the reincarnation of a king and a treasure revealer, etc., like the moon in water, countless forms simultaneously appearing and accomplishing the benefit. This is because the wisdom illusory liberation of the great saints appears as unimpeded miraculous transformations. How can we, the ordinary ones, measure it with our minds? It is like observing whether the boundless sky can fit into the eye of a needle. Thus, having shown the manner of entering into equanimity in the Dharma realm, the posture of the precious relics slightly relaxed, the feet in Vajra posture, the left hand in meditative equipoise resting on the hip, the right hand making the gesture of ringing a bell directly near the ear, from this posture, the veins of the upper body are very clear, and even more expanded, with the appearance of youthful skin, the radiance blazing even more. The crown of the head is even more elevated, from which the dew of the moon evaporates.
