That person, as if perceiving through clairvoyance, said, "I am a servant of Orgyen Padmasambhava, a messenger holding vows, Dorje Lekpa (Vajra Sadhu), Dorje Kyungshok (Vajra Garuda Paksha), Dorje Thigle Tsal (Vajra Tilaka Bala)." He presented many proofs to dispel doubts, convincing him, so he asked him questions. That person, as if reading from the book, spoke of struggles in other places, and especially about the definite times of changes in this Tibet, many of which later came true. Also, when he was performing a week-long life-sustaining practice from the first day of October, in a vision of clear light, Machig Palha (Ma gcig dpal lha) appeared in the form of a woman in elaborate attire, bowing respectfully and offering a silver bowl filled with various foods, and an arrow adorned with five-colored ribbons. The colors of the ribbons indicated future events, and many other wonderful dream signs occurred. Then, in the manner of offering to the assembled Yasphen, he performed exorcism, longevity empowerment, subduing pride empowerment, and planetary Torma empowerment for the great lord at the summit, and also performed bathing and other rituals. At Chuzang, during the consecration ceremony, the estate managers invited each other to their respective places, offering with great respect, and generously bestowing Dharma gifts such as empowerments. On the fourth day of the first month, when the constellation Sangs and Mercury conjoin, an auspicious time for the union of accomplishments, the people of Tashi Chode Monastery performed a grand consecration ceremony. During the appointment of patrons, as the Regent was to ascend the throne and needed to be congratulated, he proceeded to the head of the monastery's assembly, offering the auspicious eight emblems of enthronement. After the ceremony, during the celebration, he was granted the authority of Tertön Tishi Chokyi Gyalpo (Ti shri chos kyi rgyal po), the great treasure revealer of Padmasambhava, along with a seal with a sheath and a long white silk scarf embroidered with golden dragons.
