That night, in a dream, in a pleasant palace, the great master Mandzashi himself, his body radiant and his hair piled up, completely bestowed the essential instructions of the Dakini. From this lama, at other times, he also heard the Dzogchen longevity empowerment, as well as the empowerment transmission of the Rongshi Nyingtik, the Protector's Life Wheel and the goddess Patra, etc. Returning from Lhodrak, on the night when he stayed overnight in Chawok Jangthang, when the evil tricks of the demons occurred in a terrible and frightening way, he looked at his own nature, recognized the appearance of fear as the power of self-awareness, and fell asleep for a while. He dreamed that the Dakini was dark blue, radiant, adorned with bone ornaments, drinking brain blood filled in a human skull, and sitting on a corpse, bestowing the essential secret of cutting off the illusion of grasping and being grasped. After waking up, he put this meaning into practice, and thus obtained the sign of overcoming obstacles. At the age of twenty-seven, in Lhasa, from Gyakhar Umdze Dorje Tseten, he heard the Serkyong Nyintsolma of the Darphyar tradition, and from Lokchu Mikpa Zurton Ngawang Phuntsok, he heard the empowerment transmission of Narok Dongtruk, the empowerment transmission of Dokon Lekden, the transmission of Phurpa Yöngnak, etc. At other times, he also heard some of the Dharma classes of Charkha Drömbu Ma, the entrusted rotten instructions Gau Khajor, suppression and protection, longevity practice essence extraction life divination, Orgyen Lingpa's pervasive tortoise, and the practice notes for treating smallpox with mantras, etc. From Trazang Chöje, the accomplished master Setön Tukchok Öbar, from that time onwards, he heard both the Dakini Nyingtik and the Jangter Tukdrub empowerments, transmissions, and instructions, Great Compassion Avalokiteshvara liberates all beings, longevity.
