After opening it, he also bestowed blessings upon the assembled people. At that time, the sky was clear, and there was a great sound like thunder, and various wonderful signs also appeared. After that, the facts were reported to the supreme omniscient Gyalwang Rinpoche and the great monarch, who were very pleased and bestowed a letter of commendation and many valuable gifts. After that, in November, I (the author) made a written record of the three marked scrolls and compiled them into a book. After that, he spent a month in retreat, opening the Dharma through treasure practice such as tsok, torma offerings, etc. After that, in the new Iron Bird year, he again strictly practiced treasure practice in retreat, and auspicious signs appeared. Sometimes, the tulkus and activities of the previous and subsequent lives of the venerable one himself, and all the activities and deeds, appeared clearly in his mind like a dream. The attendants and disciples of that time were also clearly visible. If he was particularly attached, it would disappear naturally, and this happened often. One night, in a dream, in a scene of valleys, forests, and rocks crisscrossing and dust flying in the east and west directions, on the south bank of a turbulent river, the venerable one himself was sitting there. When he tried to cross the river to reach the north bank, he was almost washed away by the water. At this time, a young and beautiful woman with a ruddy complexion reached out her hand and pulled him up, and he safely reached the shore. She said, "This is the abyss of samsara." She pointed with her finger. The venerable one saw that in the east, in the midst of darkness, flames flickered like lightning, which was terrifying and unbearable. And in the west, it was said to be the path of nirvana, a path like a stretched white silk, the edge of which was constantly expanding, as bright and clear as the sun. The woman prayed to the Guru (Padmasambhava) while leading him, as if guiding him.

Finally, with (that woman) also giving assistance in prayer, (he) proceeded onwards, and in the center of a forest thick with various trees such as sandalwood and Chinese ash, there was a rocky mountain shimmering with the radiance of jewels, its peak seeming to reach the sky. The mountain valleys were adorned with trees, grasses, flowers, streams, and so forth, where many birds and wild animals frolicked. On that mountainside, there was a winding gray path. Following in the footsteps of that previous woman, at the summit, he saw a crystal-clear stone staircase leading to a gatehouse adorned with horse stables, and the three levels of the courtyard were all decorated with square blue stone tiles. In the center, surrounded by a pond covered with various flowers, supported by jeweled railings, was a jewel palace, its construction marvelously extraordinary, and the entire surroundings were encircled by numerous gods, sages, and renunciates. Offerings of various kinds were piled high. He himself, in accordance with them, made offerings and prayed with intense devotion, proceeding onwards. In the center of that palace, on a jewel throne, he saw the Great Teacher Padmasambhava seated, surrounded by an inconceivable assembly. Due to the intense devotion that arose in his heart, from the tip of the threatening finger of his raised right hand, a flame, hot and sharp, flashed forth and touched his body. He felt an unbearable burning sensation and was burned, losing consciousness. When he awoke, in front of him, the mandala of Great Compassion, complete with the deity and retinue, appeared as clearly as a naturally arising fruit mandala. He himself, in the form of a deity, stood at the entrance of the mandala, and upon entering the mandala, he was sequentially bestowed with the four empowerments, and the essential points of the profound instructions were explained and imparted. He felt that the realization of all of these was perfected like a flash of lightning in his mindstream. Then, placing his hand on his crown, Padmasambhava blessed him and spoke some oral instructions, and all the words and meanings of the profound Dharma clearly arose in his mind. Then, from there to the west, in the center of a very lush forest, there was a deep blue lake. In the center of the lake, on the side of a rock mountain that looked like a red coral reef, there was a cave that looked like a cut-open egg. Inside the cave, there lived a young, beautiful woman with a slender figure.
