On the second day of the tenth month, Wednesday, at an auspicious and favorable time when the accomplishment of Lhakhang Lhatsam was in full bloom, in the early morning in the Kham-sum chamber, the hair of the reincarnation of the precious lineage was offered to the presence of the Supreme Gyalwa Rinpoche, and the name Padma Gyurme Gyatso was bestowed. Many extraordinary blessed objects such as relics of the Tathagata were also bestowed, as well as various delicious foods such as Chinese fruits. From the immaculate decree, it was known that (the reincarnation) had grown taller and his mind was clear, and he was very pleased, saying that he should be taken good care of, and gave great loving instructions. Afterwards, at the entrance of the Kham-sum chamber on the way back, first the head chef offered a special khata, including the monk Ngawang Konchok, the doctor, the steward, the secretary, and most of the Supreme Guru's attendants, as well as the monastery's steward and individual monks, the estate's Yum Rinpoche, Choephel, and others, all offered gifts with great joy. In addition, everyone closely related, such as Zikashar, Chumikha, and Jangling, offered gifts in turn. From that day on, about eighty people, mainly the new monks of the great monastery, received Lama Sangdu, Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara Liberating Beings, Yamantaka Wrathful Water Repelling Sharp Blade Inner Cutting, Powerful Drolod, Essence Nectar Extraction, Secret Extremely Wrathful, Hayagriva Subduing the Three Realms, the Swift Empowerment of the Eight Herukas of Kagyad, the Zor Empowerment of Charka, Loktri, Shingkyong, Takshon, Mantra Protector, War God Torma, Palha, Dorje Lekpa, Gyaltsen, and the Life Empowerment of the Tsenma, for five days.

Dakini dispelling obstacles, the empowerment of Gyachen Trolö, etc., and on the next day in the morning, he offered the long-life empowerment arrow-mother, etc., of Rachen Paljor Zangpo, and also generously bestowed empowerment gifts such as silver mandalas, etc. In the afternoon, the steward and the prince of Nakartse, etc., came to visit, and he fulfilled their wishes with long-life empowerments to remove obstacles, etc. On the 14th, to about fifty monks of the great monastery, he bestowed the transmission related to the recitation of Loktri and the instruction on the order of contemplation. To Rabjampa Tokme Chen, he bestowed the transmission of the liberation ritual and the instruction manual of Samsara-Dharmadhatu Liberation. From the 15th onwards, the venerable one himself also went as the master of the subjugation practice, and until the 29th, he practiced without ceasing the mantra lineage, and many amazing signs and omens also appeared. From sunrise on the 29th until dawn on New Year's Eve, in the area below the great golden stupa and the four great corners, etc., he performed five types of subjugation activities, and the signs of subjugation, the sparks of the Torma, etc., were very auspicious. When performing subjugation on the evening of the 29th, a person named Lhopa Tenzin Samdrub fell from the wall of the southwest corner with a drum from the fifth floor, but there was not even the slightest injury, and everyone was amazed. On New Year's Day, to some of the elderly monks of the monastery, he bestowed many teachings such as the transmission of the Immaculate Confession Tantra. On the 1st of November, to the abbot of the great monastery, Gelong Chakdor Wangchuk, etc., he gave detailed instructions on the meditation points of Loktri. He also bestowed various Dharma teachings such as liberation from curses and transmissions to some monks. After that, for seven days, he performed the ritual of longevity practice, which was completed on the 8th. On that day, he performed the hair-cutting ceremony for the reincarnation of Jatang Chöjor Gyaltsen. To many interested people such as the monks of Drepung Monastery, he bestowed the empowerment and teachings of Thugthig.
