He ascended the throne at the head of the assembly and dedicated the merits to unsurpassed enlightenment. He bestowed the empowerment and transmission of Guru Dragpo to all the monks of Zangtso retreat center. He gave special instructions to the two monks of the monastery who were doing the Guru Dragpo retreat. When the officials of Dhumpo came to see him, he bestowed the empowerment and blessings of obstacle-clearing deities such as Hayagriva and Guru Dragpo. In particular, he told his uncle Tshewang Migyur that the officials stationed in the Dzong were causing harm to monasteries and other places by delivering small amounts of alcohol, which was said to be a great evil deed by others, but in reality, it could cause greater harm and stronger karma. Therefore, he should try his best to serve the unbiased teachings and beings, and strive not to become an obstacle. He also gave instructions on how to act and refrain in order to lead to lasting happiness. From the 25th onwards, he bestowed the four complete empowerments of Lama Sangdu to the approximate number of Dharma seekers, including Shabdrung Rinpoche, Lama Kagyurwa, and Lama Shakya. He also bestowed the empowerments of Tertön Dorsem, Yamantaka Trakshung, Loktri (藏文: ལོཀྟྲི།, 梵文天城体:, 梵文罗马拟音:, 汉语字面意思: ), and Khyapjuk. He gave the oral transmissions of the Tertön cycle, the Chöd instructions of Machik, and the transmissions of Khandroma and Lama Sangdu. On the 4th day of the eleventh month, on the auspicious day of the melting moon, he successfully received the transmissions of the Kanjur without obstacles. On this day, he also bestowed generous offerings such as khatas, Nyenchen Thanglha's auspicious items, silk, satin, throne covers, golden statues and thangkas of Hevajra, cymbals, trumpets, and fine tea and silk. He also bestowed some desired Dharma teachings, such as the empowerments of Vajrasattva and Guru Dragpo, to the official of Jagö, Kunga Phuntsok. To the approximate number of Dharma seekers mentioned above, he bestowed the transmission of the Bodhicitta ritual of the Madhyamaka tradition composed by Gyalsé Ngulchu Chödzongpa, as well as the visualization stages of Yanglok Lokti, the life-force entrustment of the Great God (Lhachen), and the instructions on the arising of Thuktik, etc.
